Of Angels and Men Overcoming Pride by Choosing Humility (Part 2 of 2)

In this message you will learn some amazing insight about God, heaven, created beings, angels, Lucifer, satan, and humankind.  You will learn the how and why God decided to make you, me and all human beings and why He made us the way He made us, giving us a unique ability to humble ourselves and repent, which no other created being the Lord created had the ability to do.  You will also learn how God showed mankind this for thousands of years, and finally He demonstrated what all humans can do through Jesus Christ His Son, coming to earth in our form, the form of man, laying aside all of His God qualities.  He showed us that God has amazing plans for each of us, but it will require us to do what Jesus demonstrated which is to humble ourselves.  Unlike Jesus, Who never sinned, we also must repent of our sins.  When we do this, God will exalt us, use us, bless us, entrust us with more, but if we choose to exalt ourselves as Lucifer/satan did, and we do not humble ourselves and repent, we will fall as Lucifer fell.  God is wanting to give you more than you can imagine. He is wanting to entrust you with a greater anointing to preach His Kingdom, teach His ways, introduce Jesus to them, to help others know Him.  The question is, can He trust you with more?  Will you, like satan, deny Him, turn from Him and take on a prideful spirit of haughtiness if He were to give you more?  This message will empower you to learn how to exercise your will to humble yourself for it is up to you to make that choice. ‘The person who exalts themselves will be abased (corrupted, degraded, warped, demoralized); and the person who humbles themselves will be exalted (elevated, promoted).’  Matthew 23:12 The Lord said to Pastor Kilpatrick, “A haughty spirit is one of the most important ones that he has covered in this Overcoming the Demonic series because it is a satanic spirit, one which can’t be cast out, that everyone was born with (because we’re all made from dirt), and humility is the only way to keep it defeated in our life.
