The Promised Holy Spirit: The Blessing of Shameless Audacity – Part 8

In a culture where things seem to come so easily, and you can get what you desire instantly or delivered to your door in two days, it's easy to apply these same expectations of timing to the Lord and His Kingdom. Though men and cultures change, God never changes. He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. God expects us to have the audacity to pursue Him and His promises, knowing that He is not a man that He would lie, nor a son of man that He would change His mind. All His promises are yes and amen in Christ Jesus. Jesus not only tells us to wait for the promised Holy Spirit before we step out into our lives on our journey with Him, but He also tells us there will be times when we need to have bold, consistent, and persistent prayer, asking Him for what He has promised until we receive it. If you’ve been struggling or know someone who is struggling in their pursuit of receiving the promised baptism in the Holy Spirit, this message will greatly encourage you and give you the heavenly strategy to not quit seeking until you get what Jesus promised you: the baptism in the Holy Spirit.
