There are some who teach if you name it, you can claim it. Others teach you can name it if you want to, but you cannot do anything about it. This message is not either. It is about what God’s Word tells us about how God has given each of us authority and His word and how, like Jesus demonstrated with the Father, we can listen to the words of God and speak out what He says and do what He tells us to do in His Word and our lives will come out the way God plans it to be. Did you know that the power of life and death is in your tongue? Did you know that you can use your mouth to speak out blessings that come to pass or cursings that come to pass? Did you know that as a small rudder steers a huge ship, your tongue steers your life? You will learn how there is a reservoir (your heart) you can fill up with God’s Word that will assure your mouth speaks better words over your life, your future and the lives and future of those around you. You will learn how God’s Spirit is the first thing Jesus sent to the earth to change the words of His disciples and one of the reasons why. You will learn how the Holy Spirit has the power to control your words (tongue) when you surrender its use to the good purposes of the Lord in your life. Finally, you’ll be encouraged to trust the Lord, no matter what you might face on your journey to seeing His promises coming to pass for He has promised you in His Word about a future that you have not yet seen, and how vitally important it is to align your words with what God says about you and your future for what you talk about will come to pass.
