Looking around at our present culture, one may find that people are experiencing victories. But, upon further inquiry, one would find that those victories have come with many setbacks. It has been a battle. It has been a struggle. Paul wrote very plainly these words to the Church in Ephesians 6:12: “For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.” This is a spiritual battle. As followers of Jesus Christ, the question is not if we will encounter evil demonic forces, but when. Paul not only encountered demonic activity in his life, he dealt with it. Today is no different. We will encounter demonic activity; and we have to deal with it.

As the Church, we must not be surprised or fearful of demonic activitity. In Christ Jesus we have all authority OVER the devil. We must exercise that authority and walk in it. Now is the time to cleanse our land, cleanse our nation, and cleanse our lives of all demonic influence. We must keep the atmosphere uncontaminated. If not, the only outcome is destruction.
