Five Things We Will Learn
- The core questions driving today’s rapture conversation—and why they matter.
- Why the rapture has become controversial and what that controversy reveals.
- The major differences between rapture views, especially concerning timing.
- What Scripture-based readiness looks like for believers living with expectancy.
- What happens on earth and in heaven when the church is removed.
Bishop Rick Renner, and today we have another bishop with us. I’ve invited Bishop Allan Dado to be with us today. And today we’re going to talk about—are you guys ready?—we’re going to talk about the rapture. When is the rapture going to take place? Is it really going to take place? When is the Antichrist going to show up? Do we know who the Antichrist is? And is he alive right now?
And Max Andre, I’m glad that you’re here. And we want to welcome Alan Dilla. Oh wow.
And he’s just written a book called They Lied to You About the Rapture. It’s really an interesting title, and it talks about the rapture—why the rapture is true. It is a tremendous book. I read it from cover to cover. And Allan, I want to say thank you for writing that book.
And you were writing your book parallel while I was writing my book, and we didn’t even know we were both writing books on the rapture. So I found your book really helpful to me, and I want to say thank you for writing it.
Well, thank you. It must be a subject that the Holy Spirit wants people to dive into and get excited about again.
Andre, you go first. Could you tell us a bit about Pastor Allan? How did you get to know him? We know he wrote several wonderful books, but how did you meet?
Well, I watched him on YouTube, and I believe Allan interviewed me. I can’t really remember how it happened.
Yes, we did an interview, and I spoke in Allan’s church. Allan was also on our TV program for ten days. I just love Allan Dilla, and I love his whole family. And I have a question for you.
Why Is the Rapture So Controversial Today?
You know, I think it was 2015 when I was dealing with another controversial subject in the body of Christ, and the Spirit of God spoke to me and said, “Pay attention to the doctrines that are criticized, mocked, or manipulated, because that’s where I’m moving. That’s where I’m working.”
I began to realize that whenever something becomes controversial—almost radioactive—the enemy is trying to keep us from learning about that subject.
When I was first born again, before I had learned anything about end times or the rapture, I had a dream. In the dream, I was in a large open field near my childhood home. There was a cookout going on—a celebration. People were in their yards, having a good time.
Suddenly, I heard a sound and looked toward the clouds. Behind dark clouds, I saw a clock with Roman numerals. It read 11:59, and the second hand was racing toward midnight. Then, all at once, gravity lost its hold, and I began to rise off the ground.
I knew I was about to see Jesus. The thrill and excitement were tangible. But when I looked down, I saw that most people were completely unaware of what was happening.
I woke up from that dream saying, “Jesus is coming.”
From that moment until now, I’ve poured my heart, soul, and life into studying the rapture of the church, the end times, and the second coming. I’ve been shocked by how divisive this subject has become.
I believe it’s because the enemy wants to rob the church of its hope—its blessed hope. That’s why it has become so controversial.

If People Don’t Believe in the Rapture, What Do They Believe Will Happen?
It varies. There are differing views. I believe most Christians—though I could be overstating this—do believe in the rapture.
The rapture represents the fullness of Christ’s redemptive work in our bodies, when we are resurrected and receive glorified bodies. Most of the church agrees that this will happen.
Where we differ is when it happens. Some say before the seven years of tribulation, some say in the middle, and some say at the end.
But we all agree there is coming a glorious moment when gray hair returns to its natural color, when what was lost is restored, and when we walk in glorified bodies—no more backaches, no more pain.
That is exciting. No wonder the enemy wants to rob us of that hope.
Second Peter tells us that in the last days mockers will ridicule those who believe in the rapture of the church. We see that happening today.
Yet Scripture is filled with raptures. Enoch was taken. Elijah was taken. Jesus ascended. Raptures appear throughout the Bible. If God can do it with one, He can do it with all. This is no challenge for God.
In that moment, our bodies will be transformed. It will be the ultimate cosmetic procedure—instant. Wrinkles gone. Everything restored to its rightful place.
When Will the Rapture Happen?
I know exactly when the rapture is going to happen. Are you ready?
At any moment.
We stay away from date-setting because Scripture says no one knows the day or the hour. There’s a reason for that.
The hope and anticipation of Christ’s return are meant to shape how we live. The rapture is imminent. That doesn’t mean soon—it means at any moment.
We must be ready at any moment.
Does Anything Need to Happen Before Then?
That is what “imminent” means. Nothing must happen before it takes place. It is the next event on God’s prophetic calendar.
We may see signs fulfilled, but those signs are reminders, not prerequisites. Any moment. Be ready to meet Jesus.
No signs need to be fulfilled.
Who Will Go in the Rapture?
Every blood-bought believer will go in the rapture.
What If Believers Are Not Living for God?
This is where we must let God be the judge. Scripture gives us persistent warnings—at least twenty-one in the New Testament—calling believers to be watchful and ready.
Those warnings would not exist if readiness did not matter. A careless, half-hearted Christian life does not align with readiness.
That said, this is not a partial rapture. True believers are going—those trusting in Jesus for salvation and looking to Him daily as the author and finisher of their faith.
Scripture creates tension on purpose. It presses us to examine ourselves and be ready.
What Happens the Moment the Church Is Removed?
There are two simultaneous scenes: earth and heaven.
On earth, the restrainer is removed, and evil is unleashed. In heaven, believers stand before the judgment seat of Christ—not for condemnation, but for reward. Our works are tested, and we see our lives as they were versus what they could have been.
This is also the time of the marriage supper of the Lamb. That process spans seven years, showing how thorough God’s work will be.
The parable of the ten virgins reinforces readiness—not just today, but tomorrow.
The best advice for believers is simple: put on the helmet of the hope of salvation. Live every day saying, “Jesus, is it today?”
Is the Antichrist Alive Right Now?
Satan has always prepared antichrists, but the Antichrist himself cannot be revealed until the church is removed.
Scripture gives us extensive detail about him so we are not ignorant of his devices.
Will Believers Be Here for the Tribulation?
No. The tribulation is God’s wrath, and believers are not appointed to wrath. God removes the righteous before judgment, just as He did with Lot.
God will do what is right. He will take His people out of the way.
