Living on the RIGHT SIDE of History

One of the most controversial topics in our present culture is the topic of history. You may not be aware of it, but right now, you are a part of making history. Being a part of history means that your part of things that have not manifested yet. The question is, what side of history will you be on? In Matthew 7:13-14, Jesus said, “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” Often times, we think that we are on the right side of history because we are walking with the crowd. But, when we look at the words of Jesus, we find out this is not the case. By looking at what Jesus says, we find there are only two roads, the right road and the wrong road. Some people followed Jesus, but most didn’t. Every day that were given, we have an opportunity to labor as a demonstration of our love for the Lord. Our works do not save us, but you may be surprised as to what effect our labors will have in Eternity. Be encouraged as you allow this message to wash over you on this side of eternity and make sure you are on the right side of history.
