After 40 years of wandering in the desert, a day came when things would no longer be the same; ever again. Moses had died and God had raised up Joshua to now take his place and lead the Israelites. It was time. As Joshua was directed by the Lord, he shared the orders to all of the Israelites: “Pass through the midst of the camp and command the people, ‘Prepare your provisions, for within three days you are to pass over this Jordan to go in to take possession of the land that the Lord your God is giving you to possess.’” Joshua 1:10 The days of wandering in the desert were over. It was time to cross over into the Promise.
2020 is not just another year on our calendars. This is the year that God is calling His people to ENTER IN. God is calling His people to enter His promises. Just as the Israelites faced, we will face battles ahead of us. It is these battles that we must face in order to walk in all that God has for us. This is a crucial time to pay close attention to how Holy Spirit leads us; what to do and what not to do. This year is not for the faint of heart. This is not the time to be fearful or worrisome; but to trust in the Lord and declare with boldness and confidence what He says is true.
You will be greatly encouraged and stirred with hope and excitement as you see how you are also on the precipice of great and mighty wonders being carried out in your midst, just as the Israelites witnessed when they entered into the Promised Land, if we follow His leading!
