FIRST LOVE! Worry, Anxiety, Awe, & Trust… (Part 5)

Learn how to keep your full focus on Jesus while giving only a glance to this life.  It is amazing how children when they are small, don’t have a worry AT ALL!  Many times, to their parents’ frustration.  Where a parent might say, “Don’t you know what I have to do to keep this roof over your head?” They respond, “What’s for dinner?”  Why, because worry, anxiety, and rejection are learned traits.  The small child not only never doubts their parent’s love, they assume it was always there.  Then life begins and we begin to measure life, mistakenly, based on the acceptance and love of others.  God, unlike natural parents or others in this world, never stops loving us.  He loved you before the foundations of the earth was formed and proved it by giving His Son, Jesus, to prove His love and pay the price so we can love Him, for He first loved us.  Yet, it's our life’s journey where our confidence in God’s love is tested.  God says, “Don’t worry.”  We respond, “But God…”  In this message, we learn the importance of us having a reverential awe for God in our lives when it comes to our First Love and though we have trials and difficulties in this life, we don’t measure God’s faithfulness and love for us by them, because He loves us before them, during them and through them.
