FIRST LOVE! Love With All… It’s a War (Part 11)

Who would have ever thought when you began to love God that it would cause conflict in your life with others?  There are so many things, so many people we could love over loving God, including ourselves.  When we determine that we’re going to love God above all with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength others who don’t love God or who don’t put God first in their life realize that you have chosen to love God.  What does that mean?  It could mean they begin to understand they come second or that they are not going to get to determine your life anymore, because now you are following and loving the Lord with all your heart.  Sad to sad, that means for some there is a battle line drawn between you and them. Jesus speaks of this when He shows us how His sword come down and draws a line through the world, through our nation, through our city, through our families, through our marriages, and yes, even through us.  It’s a dividing line that everyone is welcome to cover on God’s side, but not everyone will and not everyone will be happy with your decision to be on God’s side.  This message on love speaks of that war.
