Vexed, Overcoming the Demonic (Part 20.2) The Spirit of Antichrist (Part 3 of 3)

This message will bring you great comfort and edification as you learn about our Lord’s soon coming. The apostle John specifically explains what will be evident at the time of the last hour which clearly makes known to us that we are in the last hour before the Lord returns. One of the main focuses of the antichrist spirit is to cause the church not to be WATCHING for the Lord's return. Jesus says we do not want to be caught by surprise when He returns, not WATCHING for His coming. "There is a very monumental pressing of this antichrist spirit working… in the churches to get people not to be WATCHFUL for the coming of the Lord. To get people distracted with other things.”  The apostle Paul describes just how quickly the rapture will take place when Jesus comes for His church. Paul said it will happen as fast as "a twinkling of an eye." That is fast! It means He is coming back for those who have “made themselves ready.” Revelation 19:7 "Of that day and hour, no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Take heed, WATCH AND PRAY; for you do not know when the time is. It [The Rapture] is like a man going to a far country, who left his house and gave authority to his servants, and to each his work, and commanded the doorkeeper to WATCH. WATCH, therefore, for you do not know when the master of the house is coming—in the evening, at midnight, at the crowing of the rooster, or in the morning—lest, coming suddenly, he finds you sleeping. And what I say to you, I say to all: WATCH!" Mark 13:32-37 NKJV. When someone says something four times, it is important. When Jesus says for us to WATCH four times, it is of the utmost importance! It also reveals to us that in the last hour it will take significant effort to stay awake, alert, undistracted, and focused on the Lord and His soon coming, which is our hope! Many will fall away from the church during this time known as “the great falling away.”  Those who pray and keep watch for the Lord’s coming not only have hope, but they will know how to recognize and avoid this antichrist spirit that tries to get their focus off of the Lord’s coming.   Jesus saves and delivers those who are His.  “This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven,” the angels told the disciples as they saw Jesus raise off the earth into heaven, “will come back in THE SAME WAY YOU HAVE SEEN HIM GO INTO HEAVEN.
