LISTEN NOW! Mocking and Gloating does not end good for those that do.
Whoever teases or laughs at a poor person in a scornful way is making fun of that person as if they were beneath consideration, worthless or deserving their scorn. Doing this is to show the exact same scorn towards God, their maker. Getting God’s perspective of the poor will transform your life, your priorities and cause you to be quick to notice and pray and to help those in need to the extent you are able. When we lend or care for the poor we are lending to and caring for God. Whoever gloats over disaster will not go unpunished. Gloat is defined as, to contemplate on or dwell on one’s own success or another’s misfortune with smugness. Whoever contemplates on or dwells on one’s own success or another’s misfortune with smugness while looking at a disaster that comes upon another, will not go unpunished.
