LISTEN NOW! As days progressively pass by in America, there is a heightened awareness of the events taking place between Christianity and Islam. By taking a closer look we can see some stark differences between the two. Regardless of the repeated lie, that they believe in the same things, by simply reading the texts of what Christianity and Islam believes in, we can see that they are simply polar opposites.
Christianity and Islam trace their faith back to Abraham, but the roads begin to split when we look at the existence of 2 different sons, Isaac and Ishmael. This is where the journey begins. More than 2,000 years later, where we are today, and confiding in the book of Revelation, we see the reality of a coming “Mark”. What the Bible speaks of regarding the Mark, and what the Koran speaks of regarding the “Mark”, are complete opposites. There is nothing the same. What you find out may surprise you. In its most basic form, Islam believes that Jesus Christ is not the Son of God. It is anti-“Jesus as the Christ.” In other words, you can say that Islam is the anti-Christ religion.
With this being said, it is concerning when we look at the events of President Obama’s first international speech at Cairo University, when he stated, “I consider it part of my responsibility as President of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear.” In the same administration, Secretary of Homeland Security, Jeh Johnson, stated, “We in the administration and in the government should give voice to the plight of Muslims living in this country, and the discrimination that they face.” When you hear these statements being made about Radical Islam from those in the West, you’ll be shocked to hear what a nun’s perspective is about the same Islamic beliefs taking place in the Middle East, and what President of Egypt el-Sisi had to say about the same Islamic beliefs.
Hear the full story of what is taking place, how it is critical for the church to stand up for the Judeo-Christian beliefs in America, and so much more. Greg and John shared in this segment.
