Devastating 7.8 Earthquake In Ecuador- Ecuadorian’s Getting Timely Help from Franklin Graham’s Samaritan’s Purse

LISTEN NOW! Ecuador has suffered a catastrophic Earthquake registering 7.8 on the Richter Scale. Amidst the devastation and tragic losses that are being experienced in the area, Samaritan’s Purse is arriving on scene to help. As many of the structures in the area are significantly damaged, this also includes the local hospitals in the area. As a response, Samaritan’s Purse is airlifting a Field Hospital in order to effectively and speedily treat the most urgent cases on site. President of Samaritan’s Purse, Franklin Graham shares, “We’re responding as quickly as possible to help with emergency needs such as water, shelter, and medical care. We help in the Name of Jesus Christ and want to show people His love. Please keep them in your prayers.”

To see the actual devastation that is being experienced in Ecuador is an absolute tragedy. Jason Edgerton speaks about how Samaritan’s Purse has arrived to Ecuador and the extent of the damage, “There are hundreds that have been killed, thousands injured, and probably close to 100,000 people in need of some sort of aid. So, were grateful that we have an opportunity to come here and respond.” We thank God for Samaritan’s Purse and how He is using this ministry to reach those in Ecuador.
