In the book of Matthew, it details an account that Jesus had with those who would often be considered His family while Jesus was ministering to others in a house. Picture this: a crowded house, Jesus sitting at a table, surrounded by attentive onlookers; then, a knock at the door. When the door opens, standing there was Jesus’ mother and brother asking for him. When Jesus was told who was waiting for Him outside, He simply replied as Matthew 12:48-50 states, “Who is my mother, and who are my brothers?
