After 3 Years in Iranian Captivity Pastor Saeed has been FREED: Thank You Jesus

Originally arrested in Iran, more than three years ago because of his Christian faith, Pastor Saeed Abedini has finally been released and is now coming home! As one who has remained steadfast in the voice regarding Saeed’s imprisonment, his wife, Nagmeh, shares about the encouragement from the constant prayers from so many around the world. In an interview with CBN, she shares “Outside of my faith in Jesus Christ, I’m so thankful for the millions who prayed, who trusted God with me, who did not give up, who would send me messages and letters…”. This is truly a joyous day as an answer to so many prayers have been realized.

It was a year ago when Nagmeh Abedini met with President Obama in Idaho about the situation regarding her husband, Saeed. At the time, the President shared that he would do all that he could to answer that response. Fast forward to today, and that request has been realized.

Watch the full report to see Nagmeh share her excitement in her own words, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: prayer, ACLJ, CBN, testimony, and sanctions. Greg and John shared in this segment.

Mike Riddering Missionary in Africa Martyred by Radical Islam

Tragic news has been made known to the body of Christ as a missionary has recently been killed. Mike Riddering was carrying out the love of Jesus Christ and building orphanages in Burkina Faso, Africa. This work was tragically ended when he was killed by Radical Islamists. A total of 28 people were killed in this moment. With raw cell phone footage, you can hear the blasts occurring signifying the moments when Mike went home to be with Jesus Christ.

Those from Hollywood Community Church, who knew him closely, describe him this way, “We feel that Mike was a modern day martyr who lost his life doing the work of Jesus, doing what he felt like God had called him to do; and we will greatly miss him.”

It is these very words that cause the challenging question to be asked of all of us. How are we impacting the lives of those around us by the way we carry out each of our lives? Who does your life impact? We will live our lives radically different when we truly believe in this reality and the reality of eternity.

One such powerful example of this is the true story of the Moravians. It was this group of people that gathered together to begin a prayer meeting. This prayer meeting continued on for 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for one hundred years. It was out of these powerful gatherings that the story of what took place regarding two men were birthed.

Encountered with the reality that an island people, forced to lives as slaves, would never encounter the true words of the gospel, these men decided to sell themselves as slaves, leaving their family and friends, simply to be able to share the truth and love of Jesus Christ. Standing on the boat that would carry them to slavery, while their families and loved ones were distanced more and more by the second, one shouted these very words, “MAY THE LAMB WHO WAS SLAIN RECEIVE THE REWARD OF HIS SUFFERING!”

Maybe God is calling you to step out in boldness to carry the torch of Jesus Christ to a people who have not heard the gospel. Listen to this full story and be stirred in your boldness to step out where God may be calling you, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: Radical Islam, persecution, Count Zinzendorf, prayer movement, eternity, Rick Joyner, missionaries, and humility. Greg and John shared in this segment.

It’s Okay to Raise a Family with Godly Values and to believe God for a Nation filled with Christians

It’s time for us to get busy about the Father’s business. There are so many political ideas being debated right now about how a nation can be won. As the Church, our greatest impact is to impact the heart of the nation. Each of us can do this by walking out our own lives of love and selflessness. When people come into contact with us, it is our testimony, and the life that we live that brings others to the Good News of Jesus Christ. Surprisingly enough, that man or woman may be a Senator, a school board member, or even a county commissioner. With simple acts of loving one another we can have a significant impact on our communities, a state, and even the entire nation.

Our lives start with how we are impacting our immediate families. When we pour our lives into the lives of others, for generations to come, we can know confidently that it doesn’t matter what may happen to us, because who we are is being lived out in the lives of others. It may seem small, but a parent can do powerful things each day to greatly affect the lives of their families; speak out the things of God over their children, don’t agree with the lies of the enemy, and believe in the good plans that God has.

Be encouraged in your walk with the Lord as you see how your life can have great impact on all of those around you, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: high heel church, witnessing, evangelism, lock jaw, family, fathers, and missionaries. Greg and John shared in this segment.

Israel is Not Okay with Iran Deal

Forward progress is continuing regarding the Nuclear Agreement with Iran. Israel is not fooled. Part of the Israeli Foreign Ministry, Emmanuel Nahshon, shares the important truths this way, “The whole international community will have to be extremely watchful and extremely vigilant because we cannot trust Iran to fully implement the agreement and even if they do implement the agreement, one has to remember that it is limited in time. It is limited to 10 or 15 years.” This deal was passed on the very same day that Pastor Saeed was freed from an Iranian prison.
