LISTEN NOW! As an outspoken leader, speaker, and writer, Lt. Gen. (Ret) Jerry Boykinh as made a tremendous impact in many different areas. Because of a recent Facebook post, the General was fired from his position teaching Military Leadership and National Security at Hampden-Sydney College. When more and more voices are calling for changes of transgender people, Boykin has consistently been against it. It was this post, on his Facebook account, “The first man who goes into the restroom with my daughter will not have to worry about surgery” that cost him his job at Hampden-Sydney College. Boykin remained steadfast in what his beliefs were, regardless of the decision from the college.
