“Do you see this as a Doomsday for Abortion’s Rights?” MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow asks Parenthood CEO Cecile Richards. Is Abortion Coming to an End in America?

LISTEN NOW! As each VFNtv Program comes to a close, we end with a prayer continually asking that God would end abortion, send revival, and send a 3^rd Great Awakening to America. There are so many answers to these prayers coming to pass, it is difficult to gather every one. With the recent Presidential Election in mind, we can see how God is moving so profoundly in America.

When 60 Minutes’s Lesley Stahl sat down with President Elect Donald Trump, she brought up the topic of the vacant seat of the next Supreme Court Justice. “Will you appoint, are you looking to appoint a Justice who wants to overturn Roe v Wade?” He was very clear as he stated, “I am Pro-Life. The Judges will be Pro-Life.” As Stahl presses about the issue of overturning Roe v Wade, he continues in his answer. “If it ever were overturned, it would go back to the states.” Again she interrupts, “Some women won’t be able to get an abortion.” And he again continues in his same answer, “They’ll have to go to another state.” This is so refreshing to see a leader that is not only clear and very direct in his answer but is also acting in accordance with the Constitution.

The Tenth Amendment of the Constitution states, “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.” Some may be shocked or surprised at the President-Elect’s response to the issue, but this is how the Constitution has designed these matters to be resolved. We have gotten so far removed from the Constitution that it seems odd to see things done the way it should be.

To see where we are only a handful of days after the election highlights the drastic reality from where many perceived it to be only a few months prior. Take President of Planned Parenthood, Cecile Richards, and her speech at the recent Democratic National Convention. “Millions of women, men, and young people trust Planned Parenthood and The Planned Parenthood Action Fund trusts Hillary Clinton…and she will always stand up for the right of every woman to access a full range of reproductive healthcare including abortion no matter her economic status.” And then again speaking outside the Democratic National Convention during an afterparty, she proclaimed, “It is no good to have a right if you can’t exercise it…”

Cecile Richards wasn’t the only one touting the boastful projection of a Planned Parenthood cruising victory over the Roe v Wade discussions of today. Senator Elizabeth Warren also boastfully declared her allegiance to Planned Parenthood when the issue of defunding Planned Parenthood was being discussed in the Senate. Now, fast-forward to today, and we have just witnessed Donald Trump winning the election for the President and not Hillary Clinton. This same confident mindset is not as strongly upheld by the same voices. As a matter of fact, its quite a bit shaky now.

When we look at these sequence of events, one has to wonder why Planned Parenthood was so open and direct about their focus on abortions. When David Daleiden, Project Lead for Center for Medical Progress, spoke with The Blaze’s Dana Loesch, she clearly highlights, “I don’t think I’ve ever seen it so mainstream before.” But, as one who has not only gone into investigations into the abortion industry’s operations, but has also been on the receiving end of litigation because of his revealing and exposing work, Daleiden shares a hopeful and optimistic perspective. “This strategy is the last ditch attempt of the abortion industry to try and legitimize themselves and try to legitimize their practices of child killing that the majority of Americans find to be absolutely abhorrent, disgusting, and cruel.” He also shares, “It’s really an act of desperation on their part.”

When Cecile Richards was again asked about Roe V Wade by MSNBC’s Rachel Maddow, it was a drastically different tune. Maddow opens the floor by asking, “Do you see this as a doomsday scenario for reproductive rights?” Richards responded at Planned Parenthood’s 100 year + existence and the amount of “baked goods being dropped off at their centers”. Continuing to press the issue, Maddow asks, “Do you think that Roe v Wade is at risk?” Richards responds, “Absolutely. I think Roe v Wade was on the ballot.” Richards points out, “We will absolutely be fighting for a Justice to the Supreme Court who supports this right for women.” Maddow then takes the wind out of her sails by addressing, “I don’t think you will get a Justice to the Supreme Court who will support this right for women.”

Not only was the election of President Elect Trump a huge victory for the Constitution and the values of pro-life, but also the election of Vice President Elect Pence. As reported by PBS, Vice President Elect Pence “quickly earned a reputation as a champion for conservative causes leading the fight to defund Planned Parenthood.” In his own words as an Indiana Representative, he shares, “Millions of pro-life Americans should not be asked to fund the leading abortion provider in the United States.” Speaking about his own values, he highlights, “I’m a Christian, a conservative, and a republican, in that order.”

To choose which life is valuable over another is not to be put in the hands of men but is up to God as He is the Creator of life. What is amazing to point is that the very states that have the highest abortion rates are reportedly against the death penalty. One must wonder if that is because they realize that they could be the very ones tried and convicted for the murder of the unborn. The innocent bloodshed all throughout America is crying out! These are the monumental events that we must see and recognize. Be encouraged and lifted up as you see the whole discussion about the values of the unborn, and so much more.
