What if you could have ANYTHING you wanted for Christmas; no limitations; no questions asked? Well this was the same question asked to people walking along the streets of Chicago. Tragedy has struck once again as Radical Islam has just murdered the Russian Ambassador to Turkey. When the Ambassador stood behind a podium to address a waiting crowd, gunshots rang out from an individual standing behind the Ambassador. Seconds after the Ambassador was murdered, the gunman shouted, “We are descendants of those who supported the prophet Mohammed for jihad.” There are people who claim that Islam is peaceful. These actual images highlight the outright evil that it truly is. See this tragedy in its entirety, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: Islam, prayers, and democracy. As Ban Ki-moon, Secretary-General of the United Nations, counts down his remaining days in leadership over the United Nations, he has made a few comments about what he has seen taking place towards the nation of Israel. According to CBN News, Ban Kim-moon “admitted Friday the organization has a “disproportionate” amount of resolutions against Israel.” This is an exciting moment. We have seen these actions taking place, but now the leadership is admitting that it has taken place.
It’s one thing to be stopped by a Police Officer in your vehicle. But, what would you do if you were stopped by a police officer when going about your day in a clothing store, or if they knocked on your door? When considering the stress that the Christmas season can sometimes bring, the Kansas City Police Department had a different idea in mind when a kind-hearted businessman passed out a certain number of “gifts” to the local law enforcement. Allow your perspective of law enforcement to change as you see how swiftly these officers jumped into action, and so much more. There are some that may perceive the Millennial generation to be lost as they are different from any other generation. It is so important to remember that God has not written them off as He has a plan for each one of them. This generation is not only hungry for authentic relationship but for a genuine encounter with God.

“The [United Nations] has a Disproportionate Amount of Resolutions Against Israel” says Secretary General Ban Ki-moon
Israeli Ambassador to the U.N. Danny Danon also responded to these realities by stating, “During this time the U.N. passed 223 resolutions condemning Israel, while only eight resolutions condemning the Syrian regime as it has massacred its citizens over the past six years. This is absurd..” These realities highlight the severe imbalance of attention that Israel has received considering what has taken place in Syria.
As many have seen what is taking place within the United Nations, they have been wondering what actions would take place in response. This imbalance of resolutions against Israel has been taking place while the stabbing of Israelis are not only happening, but they are being encouraged. While the voices speaking out against this bias imbalance of attention towards Israel, remained few, Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, removed every form of confusion when he spoke at the United Nations clearly and boldly regarding these issues.
“The UN should finally rid itself of the obsessive bashing of Israel.” The Prime Minister continues to point out, “In four years, of horrific violence in Syria, more than a quarter of a million people have lost their lives. That’s more than ten times…the number of Israelis and Palestinians combined who have lost their lives in a century of conflict.” In response, as the Prime Minister points out, the United Nations has “adopted twenty resolutions against Israel and just one resolution about the savage slaughter in Syria. Talk about injustice.”
Before the Prime Minister pointed out the clear evidence of facts, he pointed out the clear silence that was heard within the United Nations regarding these issues. When the rulers of Iran proclaimed “there will be no Israel in 25 years”, Prime Minister Netanyahu did not remain silent. “70 years after the murder of 6 million Jews, Iran’s rulers promised to destroy my country, murder my people, and the response from this body, this response from nearly every one of the governments represented here has been absolutely nothing; utter silence, deafening silence.” He continued to intensely stare down every individual present for a tense long-extended pause, and culminated the urgency of his point by stating, “Perhaps you can now understand why Israel is not joining you in celebrating this deal. If Iran’s rulers were working to destroy your countries, perhaps you’d be less enthusiastic about the deal.”
We are looking at dramatic shifts taking place. This is an epicenter of great transition. Continue to not only pray for Israel, but America, and also those who are in the leadership of our nation. See the full story of what is taking place within the United Nations, the full speech from Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, and so much more. Pastor Reaching Millennials with NetCast
There are some that may perceive the Millennial generation to be lost as they are different from any other generation. It is so important to remember that God has not written them off as He has a plan for each one of them. This generation is not only hungry for authentic relationship but for a genuine encounter with God.
Pastor Matt Chewning has resolved to not only reach this generation but to powerfully impact them with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He is not only walking this out, he is watching God move mightily in their midst. What began with 20 people gathering in a gymnasium, he shares, “in the last year we’ve seen about 700 people come through the doors of NetCast Church. We’ve seen about 100 people gather together in 8 different community groups.” He also highlights how technology is reaching many of these. “In the last year, there’s been over 26,000 embeds, plays, downloads from our videos….our influence is growing like crazy.” As Pastor Chewning shares, they are not stopping. They are continuing to see God move powerfully.
It is so important that we do not give up on the millennial generation. We need to reach the unreached and not simply reach the reached. People just want to know how real and powerful God is. That is why we talk often about our stories, and how we encountered Jesus Christ. See the full story from Pastor Chewning, what is happening with NetCast Church, reaching out to the lost, and so much more.
