Over the last eight years in the last administration, it appeared that there was a celebration of Islam. As this new administration has taken over the leadership of The White House, those days are now over. Christianity is not only being acknowledged, but it is also being celebrated. Jesus Christ is central to Christianity, and it is His death, burial, and resurrection that sets Him apart from any other that claims to be God. HE IS ALIVE! Easter is the celebration of Jesus’ resurrection from the tomb on the third day. Some may not be aware of this and two little girls do an outstanding job of describing this in their own cute story.
As the nation has witnessed the travesties of decisions being made to take down The Ten Commandments from multiple locations throughout our country, it is important to remember that America is built upon the values of Judeo-Christian values. The very laws that we find within America come from these laws. But, in the Oklahoma Capitol, the courts decided that the 10 Commandments were unconstitutional and needed to be removed. What is shockingly to see is that workers were carrying out this order in the middle of the night to avoid demonstrators if the act were carried out in the daytime. Some people may be outraged that this is happening, but if asked what the Ten Commandments are, not everyone could answer.
It is vital to recognize the freedoms that we have been afforded in our country and to recognize that our freedom has been given to us by God. We must not only talk about these truths, but apply them in our daily lives. Easter Celebration at the White House! Melania Trump and Cabinet Members with Children on Easter

President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, and Barron Trump were together on the White House Balcony as they acknowledged the celebration of the 139th Easter Egg Roll. This is so encouraging to witness as Christianity was seemingly being mocked over the last eight years. We have witnessed a complete 180 degrees turn from the days of yesterday, to where we are now.
Multiple members of the Trump Administration took time to sit with children and read from the pages of Easter books as attentive children sat gathered around listening to the stories. First Lady Melania Trump read Party Animals. Attorney General Jeff Sessions sat alongside his wife Mary and their four grandchildren and wife. Secretary of HUD Dr. Ben Carson was joined by his wife Candy, while his granddaughter Tesora sat on his lap listening to his story. Secretary of Education Betsy DeVos was joined by her grandson Tag and a crowd of attentive young children.
It is so important to acknowledge the Lord and encouraging to see The White House and multiple members of the Trump Cabinet taking time to spend with their families to celebrate Easter. Ten Commandments Taken Down from Oklahoma’s State Capitol? Are They Written in our Hearts?

It does no good if the Ten Commandments are written on stone if they are not written on our hearts. How many pastors are teaching their people the Ten Commandments? The question is, do we know the Ten Commandments? Are these Ten Commandments in our homes? God will put the Ten Commandments back in our homes and in our courts, when we bring them back into our hearts.
As a Professor of Business Administration at the Harvard Business School, Clay Christensen, once had a conversation with a Marxist Economist from China. During their discussion, the reality of religion in America was brought up. “I had no idea how critical religion is to the functioning of democracy.” The student continued, “the reason why democracy works is not because the government was designed to oversee what everybody does, but rather democracy works because most people, most of the time voluntarily choose to obey the law.” It was in this conversation that Christensen was reminded of a reality that he was noticing in culture. “As religion loses the influence over the lives of Americans, what will happen to our democracy?” He asks this staggering question that applies to all of us, “…if you take away religion, you can’t hire enough police.”

President Declares “MADE IN AMERICA WEEK” During His Weekly Address
The President is establishing himself as a continual speaker that shares uplifting and encouraging words when he takes the time to speak over our nation and its citizens. As the President shared in his weekly address, He described how he has established the “Made in America Week”. We believe that our country is stronger, safer, and more prosperous when we make more of our goods and our products right here in the USA.” The President understands the importance of the American economy, but also the welfare of the American worker. The President continued, “When we purchase products Made in America, the wealth, revenue and jobs all stay in our country – to be enjoyed by our people.” The President elaborated that the previous administration’s efforts were causing American jobs and production to be moved overseas. Those days are over. He continues to point out past leaders in America have sounded the same call as he is, to buy American.
