What does it Mean to Spend time With God? Find out NOW!

Did you know that we were called to not just talk about Jesus but to actually know Him and to tell others about Him? We are expected to make disciples of Jesus. But, we cannot accomplish this if we ourselves do not first become disciples of Him. In John 15:1-2, Jesus said, “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.” When we spend time with Jesus, it is only natural that we begin to bear fruit as Jesus says we will, “Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.” If we do not spend time with Jesus, Jesus continues what those consequences are, in verse 6, “If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire and burned.” Continue Reading…
