Powerful Conversation with Art Thomas: Paid in Full Healing Activation Part 4
We join Greg and Art Thomas as they continue their discussion on the book Paid in Full, Healing Ministry Activation Manual which Art Thomas is the author. They continue the conversation talking about how Jesus healed every person he encountered, who needed healing. It seems that the Church doesn’t believe that they are the body of Christ! If we have Jesus in us, then we are the body of Christ. As the body of Christ, we live from a place of humility as we move in the things of God, such as healing. Our job ultimately is to love. 1 Corinthians 13:2 “If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing.” If you want to be something you want to be love. 1 John 4:7-8 “Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.” Maturity starts to take place as we learn to love.
Art explains the difference between faith and belief. Belief is just about information; faith is about trust. Faith is to do my part and only my part and trust Jesus to do the rest. When you lay hands on people praying for their healing, that is your part. The rest of that is Jesus’ part, and with that, we trust that He will meet us in that moment of healing and heal that person. Greg shares a dream that he had, God specifically told him when praying for someone, you don’t tell God about the sickness, you tell the sickness about God. That is powerful knowing that we can move in power as we pray for others!
The difference between the gifts of healing and the healing ministry is the next topic discussed. John 16:13 “When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come.” When you move in a spiritual gift, you are expressing a piece of Jesus. When you get 100% results on something, like praying for healing for a specific issue that is a gift. You can’t teach a gift, but you can teach ministry principles, so someone can be successful in what God has gifted them to do.
