CHURCH: What is it and What is its Purpose? What is God’s Original Intent?

What is the purpose of the Church? What is God’s original intent for the Church? The Church began when the Holy Spirit showed up on the day of Pentecost. There is not a certain expectation for the Church. We can be anywhere and be the Church, and everything that God says applies to us no matter where we meet. It is said the quickest way to win souls is new Church plants. As the Church, we should always be thinking about how and where to plant the next Church. How do we bring the gospel to this next generation with Church planting? In this, we must be very careful how we lead Church plants. Greg shares how God spoke to him and God said He is going to teach him for three years what he can use for the next 30 years. As Greg talks about a Church plant that happened he shares how healings broke out, people were having dreams and hearing from God like never before. The Church is ready to see the power of God. In the context of this what was learned is to stay with Biblical principles. Ultimately, we need to watch what God is doing and hear from God in our time with Him. Be encouraged, get into the Word of God and be rightly related to your Pastor and your Church. What defines the Church is that we are walking out Biblical principles. At VFNKB we saw that we would need a training center that focuses on training and launching Pastors, missionaries and even business missionaries to be rightly related so they can plant the Church that they are called to plant. Maybe you are called to be a part of VFN Dream Center? At VFN Dream center we are rightly related and in a Church planting state of mind while following Biblical principles. Join us and be a part of a launching pad and be launched into your destiny. We want to hear from you! Controversy and Progress Happen Simultaneously

In America we need to make progress and when progress happens controversy comes with it. As the Church we need to rise up and be the light of the world. If you study the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. you see where progress happened with the Civil Rights Movement and how controversy was happening at the same time. Join us as we hear from Bishop T.D. Jakes and how he shares about progress and controversy. Bishop Jakes shares, “We could not wait for the controversy to stop for the movement to go forward,” said Andy Young, a friend of Dr. King. Are you going to stand up and be like Dr. King, Jr. for your generation? We want to hear from you and how you are standing up for what is right.
