Power of Vision Propels all Aspects of Life

There is something powerful about having a vision in our lives. Many people are living their lives on accident versus living life on purpose. We must have vision and revelation in our lives as it gives us energy and focus because we know what our end goal is.

“Where there is no revelation, people cast off restraint; but blessed is the one who heeds wisdom’s instruction.” Proverbs 29:18

Be encouraged to have a vision, to write down your “why” for your life. Look to have a Godly vision for your daily life which will empower you to go through life and do all things for the glory of God. When we have no vision, it is bad because we cast off restraint. This is why we see many young people in trouble because they have no vision for their lives. We shouldn’t want to live a life without restraint or see our family live this way. In each area of our life, our self, marriage, family, etc. we should have a greater vision for how you can glorify God through each of these areas.

Spend time with God and ask Him what the vision needs to be for each area of our life. If you need help on how to spend time with God, you can get a free plan at iAbide and start abiding with Christ today! Be sure to listen or watch the full segment to hear more encouragement. #WisdomMoments Keys to Success

Greg shares a key to success because as we know, everyone is trying so hard to be successful in life. We want to be successful in our work, our marriages, our family and in many more areas.

“In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.” Proverbs 16:9

Many are worried about writing the wrong plan, but no matter how you want it to turn out God’s plan is the plan that will make it in the end. We can sit down and write out our plans. When we are living as a believer, God will guide our steps into our plan and if the plan turns out to be wrong, then we will know because God will lead us in a different direction.

“Commit to the Lord whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. The Lord works out everything to its proper end—even the wicked for a day of disaster.” Proverbs 16:3-4

We can look at the example of Jesus and His life on the earth. It looked like His life was coming to a terrible end but as we know God had a plan and three days after Jesus’ death He rose again! And now we are saved through His death! God is doing the same work in our life. We may not see the end but know that when we commit our lives to the Lord things will turn out for good.

“And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28

#WisdomMoments Gloating over the Fall of your Enemy? NOT GOOD TO DO!

This wisdom moment shares the importance of not gloating over the fall of our enemies.

“Do not gloat when your enemy falls; when they stumble, do not let your heart rejoice, or the Lord will see and disapprove and turn his wrath away from them.” Proverbs 24:17-18

We all have enemies. People for whatever reasons in their heart can be against you, and that is something we must be aware of. When we see something bad happen to an enemy, we must be careful of how our heart responds to that!

“If your enemy is hungry, give him food to eat; if he is thirsty, give him water to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head, and the Lord will reward you.” Proverbs 25:21-22

Who are we to be angry towards someone? We should never do that! Paul wrote, Do not take revenge, my dear friends, but leave room for God’s wrath, for it is written: “It is mine to avenge; I will repay,” says the Lord. On the contrary: “If your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink. In doing this, you will heap burning coals on his head.”

Justice is best left to God. We are called to love people as Jesus did, and God will take care of justice. Justice is basically putting things back into the proper order. We are called by Jesus to love our enemies!

“You have heard that it was said, ‘Love your neighbor and hate your enemy.’ But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you, that you may be children of your Father in heaven. He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous.” Matthew 5:43-45

It is helpful to realize that at one point in our lives we were all enemies before we came to know Jesus as our Lord and Savior. Seeing that God loved us even while we were enemies gives us the example to do the same. It is a heart matter and when we try to take justice into our own hands that can stop God’s justice from happening in the situation because it was taken out of God’s hands. We have no right to hold anything against anyone. We can choose to walk as Jesus did and love our enemies. We want to hear from you! You can write to us at [email protected].
