LISTEN or WATCH NOW!

God loves you! When God heals us and shows a miracle in our life, that is God showing His love to us. Bill Johnson, the Senior Pastor at Bethel Church, talks about healing in this segment. Many people in the Bible came to Jesus for a gift of healing, and He healed them. “Jesus never scolded anyone for coming to Him because they wanted a gift, instead what He did was provide them with a miracle that directed their heart toward the Father…if you find His hand look, His face is right there.” In the moment of divine intervention look up at the Father Who gave you that good gift. Don’t let anyone ever make fun of you for seeking your healing. You will discover something in the healing that you wouldn’t without it.

Pastor Johnson has also shared wisdom not to let our lack of understanding get in the way. “I can’t let what I don’t understand, dislodge what I do understand. I understand that God is good.” Anytime we start getting the impression that God is condemning us or hating on us or a person who says they are a servant of God and is coming across this way, that is not God! The Holy Spirit will convict us but will never condemn us!

“For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.” John 3:17

We can’t take what we know in our mind because God exists outside of our mind. Don’t let your thoughts or experiences dislodge you from the reality that God is good! Regarding his prayers for healings and miracles, Pastor Johnson shares more. “I realized I needed to “put a demand” on what I believed – my risk factor had to line up with the boldness of my beliefs. As I did this, there was an immediate change in my ministry, and we began to see healing and miracles increase.”

We need to ask ourselves what is hindering us from fully walking in what Jesus has called us to do if we are not walking in that. God is not limited in what He can do, but we can limit ourselves if our dependency is more in our knowledge than on God.

One hindrance for people is not understanding that God loves them! He loves us before we come to know Him and when we do come to know Jesus as our Lord and Savior we are immediately right before God! There is nothing we must do to be right before God once we are saved.

A second hindrance is that people don’t love other people and are not moved with compassion. People are not moved with compassion when they see someone suffering from sickness, or a single mom is in poverty. Why are we not moved with compassion? We need to ask the Lord for compassion and love for everyone and meet the needs of others.

“‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’” Matthew 25:40

We can choose always to believe that God is good and share that goodness with others. What do you think about God’s goodness? We want to hear from you! You can write to us at [email protected]. Greg and Steve shared in this segment.
