Abortion Up to Minutes Before Birth & Killing the Child After Born: Where are we headed?
It is tragic what is happening in America. A previous pediatric doctor is even supporting the murder of a full-term baby! Where previously full-term abortion was tiptoed around, now the truth is coming out from those that are in darkness, that they want babies dead! It is terrible and time for believers to stand up for life!
In New York, it is now legal to abort a baby at 22, 24 and even 30 weeks! These are the ages where a baby is viable outside of the womb. When this law was passed, it was even celebrated by people smiling and the Empire State Building being lit up in pink. Vermont has even worse abortion laws where a baby can be aborted even until the last second before the baby is born. Every sin seems to be having gas poured on it as we see an explosion of dark sins in America. We are at the point in America where everyone needs to decide who is their God? In the time of Jehu in the Bible people had to decide which side they were on and once everyone decided if they were on God’s side or not judgment happened! That is what is happening in America now; everyone is choosing the side they are on. We look at President Donald J. Trump as a modern-day Jehu, who is causing our nation to make this decision so we can once again be the nation we were founded upon, one nation under God!
Many ask why people want to take the life of a child, but when we look at America, many have been taught that life is all about them and that everybody owes them something. So, when a baby comes into the picture, it reveals who the person truly is and that they don’t want to sacrifice their wants and needs for their child. Who would have thought that in America, the most dangerous place for a child is in a mother’s womb!? There have been over 60 million abortions since the passing of Roe V. Wade which proves this fact that a woman’s womb is not a safe place in this nation.
When we see so many supporting abortions we may wonder what can change someone’s mind on abortion from pro-choice to pro-life. We see this take place as a woman is interviewed by Live Action. She is asked what her thoughts are on abortion. “Um, abortion, I’d rather no one—I don’t really like abortion. I’d rather it didn’t exist. I’m not very “for abortion.” But there are times when you do need abortion, and it’s up to that person, and their rights and what they want to do.” After stating this, she watches a video explaining to her an abortion procedure and what exactly happens. She watches in horror even to the point of crying — her response changes once she could see the truth. “I didn’t know that you’d have to detach and crush, and the process it goes through, and all the risks that happens with this, so now that I do know, I just—you can—there’s so many other options apart from abortion, and I know it sucks, and like the consequences, and how it happened, and why you might want an abortion, but there’s always other—another option. You just gotta suck it up because it’s a life.” She also goes on to say how she thought rape was an exception for abortion, but now she says that adoption should be chosen in those cases since there are so many people who can’t have a baby. She changed her mind once she saw the truth!
Dr. Anthony Levatino, who formerly aborted over 1,200 babies but is now pro-life, shares what happens in a third-trimester abortion and it is really sad. A third-trimester abortion can take place from 25 weeks to term, which would be 40 weeks usually. At 25 weeks a baby is almost fully developed and viable which means that the baby could survive outside of the womb if the mother gave birth early. Dr. Lavatino says that since the baby is so large at this point, the abortion takes 3-4 days to complete. The doctor will first inject Digoxin with a large needle to inject into the baby, which is a large dose that causes the baby to have cardiac arrest which ends in death. The baby will feel the needle because they can feel pain at this stage! Then at this point, the doctor must induce labor which may take several days so the woman can deliver the stillborn baby. While she waits for labor to start, she carries her dead baby inside her for 2-3 days. Once the woman goes into labor if she can’t make it back to the abortionist office, she will birth the baby into the toilet and have the abortionist come in to clean up and take the baby away. If the baby doesn’t come out whole, then the doctor will have to perform a dilation and evacuation to remove the baby with forceps piece by piece. He continues sharing how late-term abortions have a high risk for hemorrhaging, lacerations, and uterine perforations. It can also lead to the death of the mother or future pregnancy complications. This is terrible and points out why all the more that we need to fight to protect the innocent unborn babies from going through this horrific procedure!
Glenn Beck, with The Glenn Beck Radio Program, shares some interesting facts about why women have abortions in America. “The Democrats are always chasing the health of the mother exception, right? When in reality, protecting a mother’s health is rarely given as the reason for an abortion. It does happen, but it is very rare. With the New York law, the push back the Republican’s and pro-life nuts are just overreacting. Essentially this is exactly what the Democrats are saying. No one really wants third-trimester abortions, but because we care for women so much, way much more than you do, we have to leave the cracked door open to abort the fetus just in case of the mother’s health or life is ever threatened…” Glenn shares that another argument is that late-term abortions are only 1% of abortions, so why do the Republicans worry so much about it?
91% of abortions happen in the first trimester before the end of the 13th week. 7% are performed 14-20 weeks and 1% at 21 weeks or later. This 1% of abortions means 15,000 babies are murdered in the last trimester. This is a lot of babies! These percentages come from a 2013 academic study from the School of Medicine University of California in San Francisco. This is not really a conservative review and quoting from the study, “Data suggests that most women seeking late terminations are not doing so for reasons of fetal anomaly or life endangerment.” So, the argument from the Democrats is not a true argument, stating that they want the option for late-term abortions to protect women’s health. 94% of late-term abortions are not performed due to the mother’s health problems.
Reasons why women wait so long to have an abortion:
- Trouble deciding about the abortion.
- Disagreement with the man (Father) about the child.
- Didn’t know where to go for an abortion.
- Difficulty getting to the abortion facility.
- Difficulty in raising the money for an abortion.
- Difficulty in getting insurance coverage.
Top 5 Reason (94%) mothers kill their child in the last trimester:
- Feared raising the child alone.
- Depressed or using illegal drugs.
- They had a conflict with a male partner or domestic violence.
- They had trouble deciding.
- Young and never been pregnant before.
These are the reasons that people kill their baby in the last term! As Glenn continues, “We are at a point of choosing, and the choice is really, really clear. It’s a child right before it’s born. There is no way it could be more healthy for the mother mentally to have the child poisoned in the womb–full term–have the baby die inside of her. Carry that dead baby around for three days and then give vaginal birth to a dead child. That cannot be more mentally healthy; it’s certainly not for the soul of all of us. This is one of those things that we have to drop our partisan lines on, and we have to ask each other gently to come back and back away from the cliff. This is insanity, and it only gets worse from here.”
We see, in this study done by a university that does not exactly have a conservative viewpoint according to Glenn, that the reasons that are being argued for women to have the right to abort, right up to the time of birth, are not true. So, the truth is out; what are we going to do with it?
Dr. Alveda King produced a movie that is going to be released at the perfect time to share even more truth about abortion. The title is Roe V. Wade, and it ends with the call for us to make a choice, life or death for these unborn babies.
This is tragic what is happening in America, and we all must continue to pray for the ending of abortion. For those that are at a point of decision to either keep their baby or abort; choose to be brave and stand up for what is right and have your baby!
