WATCH! Phil Robertson has never been known as a man to hold his tongue when speaking things that are near and dear to his heart. From his humble beginnings to now fame from the storyline that is his family in the show Duck Dynasty, he hasn’t changed. When speaking at the recent Values Voter Summit in Washington D.C. he carried the same words to all of those present. He clearly shared the Gospel by reminding us that we are in the year 2016 and the year prior to this was 2015. “Walk it back and you’re gonna get to year one. Something rather large must have happened because our calendar is based on what happened. Right?” It is always so refreshing to hear someone speak openly about that which is so obvious.

As Robertson shares how he has read about all the religions of the world, nothing, not any one of them comes close to the truth found in Jesus Christ. He asks this question, “Do you have a better idea on how you can escape the grave than the resurrection of Jesus Christ?” He continues, “It’s the only way I know of any of us are ever going to escape. If there is no God folks, we’re never coming out of the ground; ever! Unless, you have some information I don’t have.” As he finishes his thought, he asks one more question, “What are you going to do about your funeral and the grave you’re going into?”

Right now, God has been removed from Hollywood, the news media, our educational system, and our government. Robertson touches on all of these but reminds us, “I’m just trying to help America go back to her roots.” In his final words, he quotes Patrick Henry, “It cannot be said too strongly or too often that this great nation was not founded by religionists, but by Christians…in fact this nation was founded by Jesus Christ.”
