Global Sports Outreach is a non-profit sports organization which uses the universal language of sports to build relationships and share the gospel. Our mission is to embrace opportunities we encounter among cultural, ehtnic, and language differences that take us beyond the competition. Whether competing in international tournaments, hosting instructional clinics, or consulting with sports federations, our ministry is committed to building faith based bridges worldwide. Our basketball camps reach out and touch thousands of young basketball enthusiasts with week long instruction, and personal mentoring that change lives and better prepare them for life after basketball.

Basketball Camps are a great way to bring families into churches, families who may never step foot in a church for any other reason.

Great things are happening at Global Sports Outreach as schools and churches are already signing up for week long Christ centered basketball camps an seminars. Our local camps averaged more than 100 students while our camps in Taiwan, Russia, and Jordan had better than 200. We welcome the opportunity to address young people from all over the globe in a sports setting for the purpose of teaching victory beyond the competition.

“Take a man’s passion, match it with his practice, and you will find God’s purpose”. Only as God can do, He took an ordinary man and asked him to do extraordinary things. This coach will touch the lives of those he encounters using the gift of sports to embrace their cultural and spiritual needs. His transparency will ring true with people of all ages, as he shares his story of hope and possibilities.
His travels have brought him up close and personal with presidents, ambassadors, dignitaries, and non-athletic emissaries.

This international basketball Hall of Fame coach’s career includes coaching at every level from high school to the NBA, and into international arenas, with a lifetime coaching record of 687-117 and seven national championships.
He was selected “Coach of the Year” six times, and served as national team head coach to Belgium, Scotland, and Jordan.
