It’s wise when making decisions and commitments to share with others that as a Christian you live to honor God and that you can commit to them whatever decision you are making with the understanding that if God is requiring of you to do something else at that time, that you will do it. That helps the person and you to be very clear in terms of expectations and commitments and allows you to freely do what God has is calling you to do.
