In two recent and separate incidents, Israel has responded to threats to their civilians by conducting an air strike in Gaza where CNN reports that militants have launched more than 110 rockets since Saturday.  At almost the same time Israeli Defense Forces fire a warning shot at the Syrian military for the first time since the 1973 Yom Kippur War according to Jerusalem Post.  The shot was fired after a stray Syrian shell from their civil war exploded in Israel.  Prime Minister Netanyahu was quoted by CNN as saying, “The world must understand that Israel will not sit idly against attempts to harm us.  We are ready to intensify the reaction”  John encourages us now more than ever Israel needs the church to continue to boldly, publicly, prayerfully  stand for Israel.
