Don’t think it Strange; It’s Just God working on you
John and Pat share about turning to God and the process of God working on us in the midst of our trials. When we are going through a trial, the word of God tells us in Hebrews 12:7 Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father? It’s not over its just begun if you work with God as He is working on you. If God is working on you there is still hope.
Are You Ready to Stand with Israel?
John and Pat continue their conversation regarding Israel’s most recent response towards Syria and Gaza. In the case of Syria’s explosive shells landing in the Golan Heights as a result of the ongoing conflict in Syria. In terms of Gaza, according to CBN, southern Israel has been hit with more than 75 Rockets. Prime Minister Netanyahu warned that Israel, “won’t sit idly by.” They continue to share a segment regarding a drone that Israel shot down in the previous month. At that time a prophetic word was shared that the first time Israel has to fire the first shot to defend itself because of what we did, when the President allegedly empowered the Muslim Brotherhood that was it. They continue to encourage the church to stand with Israel and organizations like Christians United for Israeland Dugit Ministry who are strong supporters of Israel.
Enter through the Narrow Door
John and Pat share with us that hanging on the cross is not enough; you have to get on the cross if you are going to have a relationship with the Lord. John also shares In Luke 13:22-28, what Jesus said when he was asked if only a few will be saved. Jesus’ reply was, “make every effort to enter the narrow door, because many I tell you will try to enter and will not be able to.” There is a time to get ready. The time is now while you still can but just like in the days of Noah when the door is shut you will not be allowed in. He encourages, to pursue intimacy with the Lord and come back to a place of worship and to focus only on Jesus and to be willing to rid ourselves of having a form of godliness to have a true relationship with God. In other words, exchange religion for relationship. You can turn and make it right with God before it’s too late.
