LISTEN NOW! In this rethinking church moment Greg shares about the Marines and some of their unique attributes.  He shares that although the Marines are large in number they are made up of a few soldiers in a squadron.  They live together, sleep together, eat together and fight together.  Such a bond occurs among them that they are willing to put themselves in harm’s way to rescue a fellow soldier.  They even have a motto, “no soldier left behind.”  Greg shares that what the Marines accomplished by small squadrons we need to do as the church.  People don’t walk into the spiritual line of fire for someone they don’t know.  They know each other because they love each other.  Jesus himself modeled this by pouring his life into 12 disciples.  The church’s motto should be, no brother no sister left behind.
