God knows what you really worship?
John, Greg, and Pat discuss how God knows what you really worship when they share about the young rich man of Mark 10:17-22. The young man come to Jesus and asks Him what he must do to inherit eternal life. Jesus shared with him some of the commandments and he, appearing “religious” said I have kept these since I was a boy. However Jesus knew better he really knew what was at the core of the young man’s worship. He worshiped money so Jesus told him to sell all of his possessions and give it to the poor and then to follow him. The man left Jesus very sad. Giving our heart to Jesus means we give him our whole heart. We can’t have a divided heart or divided loyalty to the Lord. He wants our whole heart.
Pope Suddenly Resigns: Is this fulfillment of Prophecy?
Greg, John, and Pat discuss Pope Benedict’s sudden decision to resign on February 28, 2013. According to an alleged prophecy shared by Saint Malachy, according to Wikipedia, it is known as the prophecy of the Popes. He was given a list of 112 short phrases in Latin that would describe each of the popes beginning with Pope Celestine II and it is said to conclude with Pope Benedict’s successor, a Pope named as “Peter the Roman” which will see Rome totally destroyed. So many things are converging at once it’s important to pay attention and leave a life of sin and to give your heart to the Lord if you don’t know Him. We need to understand the times and seasons and what to do in the season.
