NY Pastor Catches alleged burglar in his Office ; Tells him God Love You as he pins the burglar down
John, Pat, and Chris how a pastor in NY walked into his office at the church he pastors and found a masked robber rummaging through papers in his office. The pastor who was on the middle of a fast held alleged robber down and called 911 for the police to show up. The Blaze reports the pastor he kept telling the burglar that God loved him
Earth opens up under the feet of Golfer takes him 18 Feet Down
John, Pat, and Chris share how about how a man who was golfing with friends was swallowed up by the ground and fell 18 feet into under ground. It is reported that the man once he was swallowed up by the earth thought about what just happened to the man in Florida when the earth opened up under his bed and took him down 100 feet. The golfers friends were able to rescue the golfer with a 12 foot ladder and rope. They encourage us to look at both of these incidents as a warning for us to inspect our own lives. Misfortune does follow some people. It’s time to evaluate our own lives. We may even be in a spiritual sink hole today and feel like at any moment we can be taken down and have the earths walls cave in on us. All you have to do is cry out to God, repent, and turn to him. The Lord ‘s arm is long enough to get you out.
NEW POLL: Says Gun Owners surveyed buying Guns for Protection
John, Pat, and Chris discuss the recent pew research poll that says that 48% of surveyed gun owners own their guns for protection, while 32 % said they own a firearm mainly for hunting purposes. They continued to discuss how the Sheriff from Wisconsin encouraged his citizens to arm themselves and protect their families until the police arrive. They also discussed police from Detroit, California, and Camden have warned their citizens that they were not able to provide them the safety and security they once were able to offer. All the while some politicians and President Obama’s administration are seeking to make stricter gun laws infringing on 2ndAmendment rights. The rights of the American people should be protected rights given by God and recorded in the Constitution by our founding fathers.
You only have ONE LIFE: Imagine what you could do for God if you seized the “vapor” called life
John, Pat, and Chris discuss how we are only given one life to live. They discuss Psalm 39:4-5 where David cries out to God, “Show me, Lord my life’s end and the number of my days; let me know how fleeting my life is. You made my days a mere handbreadth; the span of my years is as nothing before you. Everyone is but a breath, even those who seem secure. Many people today are living aimlessly without direction and purpose. The Bible tells us that a wise man gives thoughts to his ways. Is what you are living for worth anything in the kingdom of God. Is there any eternal value to what you are doing with your life. They continue to challenge us to wake up and give our whole life to Jesus. For many it is takes tragedy and illness before they begin to truly live. Avoid tomorrow’s regrets today. Imagine what would happen if you seized the day? Refuse to watch others go after God; go after God yourself like never before. Live a life that will produce the fruit you would be happy to present Jesus when you see Him.
