Just because we can, Doesn’t mean We Should; Plastic guns being made with 3D Printer
This is an update to a previous story “The FUTURE of Technology is now- from New Google Glasses to 3D Printing of Body Parts” Where this 3D printer has been used in making live tissue to reconstruct body parts such as ears. Now CBN reports that a Law Student has apparently created a plastic gun using this same printer and has the State Department up in arms citing international arms control laws and congress asking to have these guns made illegal. Greg shares that God is the creator and we are made in his image and likeness and therefore we to are creative beings. But just because we can, doesn’t mean we should. During the time of the Tower of Babel, people were able to accomplish many things. But God scrambled their language and scattered them. He did a reboot. Is our nation heading towards a reboot?
Dr. Ben Carson Interview Part 1 of 3
In this first part of Dr. Carson’s interview by Dr. James Robertson, Dr. Carson shares from a time in his youth that he was a very angry and violent young man and always felt that his rights were being infringed upon. He speaks of times where he acted out on this anger even a time he went to hit his mother with a hammer but before striking her in the head his brother grabbed the hammer from behind. One day he reached out to God who then took away all his anger. Some said he was hiding it but his response to it is, “When God fixes it you can’t deny it”. He was asked at one point what kept him from being racist? He responded saying, being a neurosurgeon, once you get beneath the skin and bone we are all the same color. It wasn’t until he found God before he was able to get beyond some beliefs.
Waves of Ice plow into Homes: The Perfect StormThere have been ice waves that have plowed into homes in Lakeside Minnesota, says CBN. Many homes have been damaged by these waves crashing through windows and doors. Residents say the waves of ice sound like trains. There have been many weather related catastrophes happening from tornadoes, droughts, fires, hurricanes and even earthquakes that were prophesied about by John Paul Jackson in his word The Perfect Storm. Greg shares how he prophesied for 10 years Malachi 4:5-6, “See I will send the prophet Elijah to you before that great and dreadful day of the Lord comes. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and the hearts of the children to their father; or else I will come and strike the earth with a curse.” And how at the end of those ten years God spoke to him saying “they did not respond” and soon after Haiti was struck with a devastating earthquake and things have just increased since. These things are going to get closer and closer until we repent. There has been a storm fashioned against us; we can repent today.
Author Mary Eberstadt writes in her book “Has the western World Lost God?”, that strong families make strong churches and weak families make weak churches. Families that have faith in God and believe in Jesus are more likely to donate to charity, donate time, donate blood and care for others than those who do not. We are seeing a collapse in family that started in the 60’s and 70’s when men were made out to be not important. Fathers are being taken out of the home and society has not supported his role and 70-75% said in a survey that that the problem with America is the absence of the father; whether he was pushed out or seduced out; out is out. Fathers are significant.
