It’s Time to Grow Up

LISTEN NOW! Greg, John and Pat discuss hot it’s time to grow up.    They continue to share how when babies are just a few months old and all they have to do is give a small smile and everyone gets excited.  Babies do very little to excite and every bit of their lives results in our praise.  However, as the baby grows up and becomes a child things shift because there are now expectations.  There are few things worse seeing than a grown child or adult acting like a baby.  They continue to share that this is a result of a weak transition from baby to child and or the refusal of the person to simply grow up and take responsibility for their life.  They share how this is an unfortunate picture of what is happening in America.   They continue to share the value of having someone in your life that would love you enough to walk along side of you and help you with areas in your life so that you can grow up in the things of God.  This can only happen if you draw close to the body of Christ and walk along side others.
Boldly Standing with Israel
Greg, John and Pat discuss the recent gathering CUFI, Christians United for Israel just had in Washington, DC.  They spoke about all the wonderful speakers that are encouraging the church and America to stand with Israel.  One such speaker was Akaya Lee, who attends Agape College in Little Rock Arkansas.  Greg shares how he so enjoyed her boldness and passion for Israel and continues to talk about how that is so needed in our people on college campuses across the country.  They continued to discuss the Judeo-Christian values that forge a bond between Israelis and Americans.
300th Day for Pastor Saeed in an Iranian Prison; Pray for the Persecuted and the Persecutors
John, Greg and Pat share how Pastor Saeed has spent 300 days in prison in Iran for preaching the Gospel.  CBN reports “The 33-year-old pastor finally received medical treatment Saturday after suffering for months from injuries inflicted by prison guards.”  They continue to share how Pastor Saeed is one of many Christians today that are being persecuted for being Christians.  Pastor Saeed continues to remain in prison for his refusal to deny Christ.   They continue to encourage us to pray for the persecuted church and for the persecutors a like.  In regards to the persecuted church that Jesus would be glorified in their suffering and for their persecution to be redeemed for God’s greater purpose and for the persecutors themselves to have the same encounter with Jesus that the Apostle Paul had when he was Saul and persecuted the church.  Only prayer can help them both.
