14 Year Old Girl Graduates College and Credits God
LISTEN NOW! John, Pat and Chris discuss 14 year old genius Thessalonika who just graduated from college.  Her mother started reading to her college text books to her and found out her daughter had the ability to comprehend and learn what she was reading to her.  Thessalonika enrolled in college at the age of 11 years old and is now graduating with a 3.9 out of 4.0 grade point average.  She credits God for her achievements likes Proverbs 28:5 which says, “They that seek the Lord understand all things.”  They continue to discuss how they were challenged and stirred in their faith to believe God for more understanding and to expand their ability to learn and grow.

It’s about doing what God wants us to DO

Chris, John and Pat discuss the importance of doing what God wants us to do.  They share about how in 2 Chronicles 35 King Josiah was getting things right according to the word of the Lord and he instructs the priest to put the ark in the temple of the Lord because they no longer needed to carry the ark on their shoulders but were to spend their time ministering the word of God and to His people.  They continue to share the importance of not carrying what God has called us to do in our on strength.  Our strength is failing but the Lord’s is strong.  It’s okay to hear God and to do what He tells you to do.  In one season he may tell you one thing and the next season another. What’s important is that we do what He tells us to do.

Vessel Made Ready for the Master’s Use

John, Pat and Chris discuss how you can be a vessel made ready for the master’s use.  The Bible tells us in 2 Timothy 2:20-21 “In a large house there are articles not only of gold and silver, but also of wood and clay; some are for special purposes and some for common use. Those who cleanse themselves from the latter will be instruments for special purposes, made holy, useful to the Master and prepared to do any good work.”  They continue to discuss how you have to let go of what was to take hold of what is by faith.  God is trying to shape you into a beautiful vessel he can use.  They encourage us to allow him to transform, mold and shape us.  We must be willing to let go of things and seasons in our life to embrace what God wants to bring us to.  You must be willing to give up the vessel you are now and put yourself on the potter’s wheel and allow God to do the shaping and molding of you so that you can be a new vessel designed and shaped for a special purpose.  You use to be a small juice glass vessel that was good to be poured into; God wants to make you a vessel that is used in Hands to pour out into others that which He has poured into you.  Are you ready to be a vessel for the master’s use?

Don’t Give in, Don’t Give up; Persevere

In this abiding moment John, Pat and Chris share the importance of not giving in or giving up and the need to persevere.  Many people today try and give up when things get tough.  The Bible tells us in Hebrews 10:35-36, “So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.  You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.”  The word of God instructs us not to throw away our faith and confidence in God but to keep it and hold on to it.  The enemy does the complete opposite and does everything in his power to get us to give in and give up.  If you are not clear in your vision then Satan is happy to give you one to distract you and get you to stop.  However, we are encouraged to persevere; which means to persist in anything undertaken.  To persevere means the need to maintain purpose in spite of difficulty, obstacles, and discouragement.  God has called us to live by faith; faith that perseveres.  They encourage us to have a vision and to stay the course and if we don’t give up or given in our persevering faith will be rewarded by God.
