150th Anniversary of Gettysburg Address
LISTEN NOW! Greg, John, and Pat discuss today being the 150thanniversary of the Gettysburg Address, November 19, 1863. They continue to speak in context of history and all the injustice that has happened in times past and continues to happen even today. Greg shares of how he has recently seen some things unfold that are quite puzzling as he shared that he saw a man get life in jail for what two officers did and they were able to keep their jobs, shooting fifteen times at an innocent person. Then just a short time after that he saw where a man who pulled the trigger at police officer and nothing came out was sent to jail. They continue to share their thoughts regarding how God is bringing America to the point of having a conversation. It wasn’t until William Wilberforce made the case in Great Britain that slaves were eventually freed in England. While slavery was coming to an end in Great Britain, America slave owners panicked thinking they were in jeopardy of potentially losing their slaves so they treated them harsher. They continued discussing what was happening right around the time of the Gettysburg Address that the country was in a horrific civil war that claimed over 700,000 lives which was preceded by the 2ndGreat Awakening. This was a major time in history when the 16th President of the United States Abraham Lincoln was transitioning a nation to the original intent of the Founding Fathers that all men were created equal and that civil rights were for all men. The nation finally made it through the civil war and it wasn’t until 100 years later when Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. gave his “I Have a Dream” speech on the national mall pointing to the fact that we are still not completely there. We must deal with racism. There are not different Americans we are all Americans. They further discussed the prophetic word given by Rick Joyner when he said that African Americans would be used powerfully to bring about the 3rd Great Awakening. If we humble ourselves before God and get His perspective and turn our hearts back to God and to each other we will see a third Great Awakening touch this nation.
God is Answering our Prayers: 20 week Abortion Ban in New Mexico and China easing 1 child policy
Greg, John, and Pat discuss how God is answering our prayers as we see a vote taken up in the state of New Mexico to ban abortions after 20 weeks. This is hopeful because up to now New Mexico has been the most liberal baby aborting state in the country. At the same time, CBN reports that the country of China is relaxing its one child only policy that results in 1 in 6 Chinese baby girls either being aborted or killed once born. Today China is experiencing a gender gap where 44 million men in China will not be able to marry a woman and start a family. The reason this is happening is because the government is providing the entire healthcare. Since the cost of healthcare is high and the government is the one who provides it then they are able to tell the Chinese people how many children they can have. They continue to rejoice as they see the hand of God moving in response to theirs and others prayers.
Alleged Negotiations taking place with the President’s Iranian born Adviser not Secretary of State John Kerry
Greg, John and Pat discussed how allegedly negotiations are taking place with the President’s , Iranian born, adviser Valerie Jarret and Iran’s leading nuclear official all the while excluding Secretary John Kerry from these alleged secret talks as reported by the “Times of Israel.” This of course is taking place as talks resume in Geneva and Secretary Kerry telling Congress to ignore the Israelis. They continue to discuss the interview Valerie Jarret, senior adviser to President Obama, had with Politico that aired on C-Span as she recounts how she first met the President. Valerie explains that she was recruiting Michele Obama from the law firm to work in public service and Michele did not want to make that decision alone and invited her then fiancé Barak to meet Jarret. Valerie shares how she saw how the President listened to Michele and her. Why is this important? It is said that allegedly Valerie is the president’s most trusted adviser and he does not make major decisions without consulting with her, she was born in Iran, listed in TIME magazine’s 100 most influential in 2013 and now her alleged secret negotiations are with Iran are detrimental to the safety and well-being of Israel as the lone democratic nation in the Middle East. It is reported the White House denies these negotiations are taking place. As Christians we can pray for Valerie Jarrett, pray for the president, and also pray for Israel. We can stand for Israel.
It Pays to Pray: Google and Microsoft working for Child Porn Restrictions
Greg, John, and Pat discuss how it pays to pray. They continue to share how God is answering prayers. For the last four and half years they have been praying for twenty four hours every Monday for many things one of which is for God to end the trafficking of women and children. Nearly 2 million people are trafficked every year, many of which become sex slaves including children as young as 5 years old. They continued to share how just last week they shared with our listeners and viewers about Operation Underground Railroad in a highlight titled OVER 1 MILLION CHILDREN SEX TRAFFICKED A YEAR WORLD WIDE. They continue to discuss how Wall Street Cheat Sheet is reporting that google and Microsoft are teaming up to crack down on child pornography. This is a major answer to prayer as God is just and we continue to pray for the end of millions that are being trafficked and victimized all over the world.
