LISTEN NOW: Greg, John, and Pat discuss a brief overview of the coming Four Blood Moons and what does this mean.  The Bible tells us that the skies and stars were created to serve as signs to mark sacred times.  They continue to discuss the state of the nations underscoring the reality that the “bill” is coming due.  Today the United States stands as the largest debtor nation ever all in the midst of an economy in turmoil.  They continue to discuss how they feel that things are accelerating as they begin to see “last days” events land like bugs on a windshield.  Over the last 500 years the Four Blood Moons started in tears and ended in joy. 

1.       The first was in 1492 when King Ferdinand expelled the Jews for not converting to Catholicism and confiscated their property.  That is also when the Jewish people gave money to an explorer named Christopher Columbus to find them a new place where they can worship God freely. 

2.        The second time occurred in 1948 when Israel became a nation and only 11 minutes after they declared themselves a state, then President Harry Truman with the full force backing of the United States confirmed and validated Israel as a country before the world. 

3.        The third time this happened was during the 6 day Yom Kippur war when Israel was attacked and as a result of the war Jerusalem came under the borders of Israel. 

Times have changed in America and we should be concerned.  We went from a time when the President put the full force of the United States endorsing the Jewish State to what is happening today the full force of the United States is behind pushing Israel away.  President Obama’s policies have not been good towards Israel.  Nations will be held accountable for how they treat Israel.  The next Four Blood Moons are predicted to begin on April 15, 2014 these signs in heavens can be a signal from heaven that time is running out and we are soon going home.

Greg, John, and Pat discuss how an imprisoned Saeed in Iran is a sign to the church.  They continue to discuss how in the same way President Obama’s administration has been uninterested in Saeed so will they be with you.  Christians for now are just being tolerated. We deserve these things unless we repent.  According to CBN News “Deadly threats to American pastor Saeed Abedini, who is imprisoned in Iran, are increasing since being transferred to a brutal prison.  The American Center for Law and Justice Reports Abedini has been repeatedly robbed and threatened at knifepoint by other prisoners.”  The Bible tells us in Matthew 25:45 ““He will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me.”  Pastor Saeed is a sign to the church.  Will we get him?  Will we forget Jesus?  We can always do three things pray, give financially, and serve.  They encourage us to do all three and to give to organizations like ACL J who are standing with Saeed.

Greg, John, and Pat discuss the true meaning and joy of celebrating Hanukkah.  They continue to discuss the blessing the Jews are.  We have the Bible today because of the detailed faithful stewardship.  They continue to share in the joy our Jewish brothers and sisters are enjoying as they look to a new bright year.  According to CBN News Thousands of Israelis come to Jerusalem’s Old City at Hanukkah each year to celebrate and see the lights.  For eight days, Jewish people around the world celebrate Hanukkah, a holiday marking a great victory 2,000 years ago. Thursday is the last day of Hanukkah this year.  They continued to discuss centuries of persecutions the Jews endured like forced to eat pork, forbidding Sabbath observance, Torah reading and circumcision yet the Jews still continue to remain as a people.  Today you are seeing persecution exist against the Jews.  They encourage us to remember our Jewish brothers and sisters and their contribution and join them in their celebration for a bright future. 

Pat, Greg, and John discuss now there is nothing sweeter than the presence of God.  In this abiding moment Pat shares how the Lord has spoken to him through Rick Joyner’s book, The Torch and the Sword.  They continue to discuss the importance of abiding and how it was revealed to Pat that when things in life become too heavy for us to carry it’s because we have left abiding with the Lord.  They continue to discuss the reason they are able to do what they are doing is not because of their talents but rather because of grace and favor that is on their lives as a result of abiding with Jesus.  If things becoming heavy in your life and you can’t carry what you once were able to carry in God it’s time to evaluate your abiding time with the Lord.  There is nothing sweeter than the presence of God that will carry you through any and every situation you find yourself in.
