They continued to discuss some of the truth shared by Francis Chan when he spoke at the One Thing Conference at the International House of Prayer. Francis shared how he wished he could spend the next two hours begging his listeners to read the Bible. He shared how you can’t know God apart from His word. That you must know the truth because people will lie to you and sometimes you will want them to lie to you. How will you know if someone is lying to you if you are not in the truth, the word of God? The apostle Paul instructs his spiritual son Timothy in the book named after him in the Bible in 2 Timothy 4:2-5 “ Preach the word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.” Francis continues to share how bad desires lead to bad theology and the following of myths as opposed to the truth. Many people are looking for the Bible to confirm or give permission to their desires and seek out what their itching ears want to hear. They are looking for a word from Reverend “Feel Good”. They further discuss how some in the church will criticize a false teacher all the while they were the ones who searched them out and continue to stay under their teachings. The time has come when men are not putting up with sound doctrine and will turn their ears away from the truth to follow myths. Men that are enticed by their own evil desires turn away to follow lies and the end result of following lies always end in some sort of death. So what do we do? We abide with Jesus. We read his word and hide His word in our heart.

Greg shares how these segments came to pass. The word of God tells us that God’s people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Greg was watching what was happening in the world and seeing how prominent people would tell bold face lie after lie as he watched what was unfolding in our government. In particular he saw what was happening in regards to health care and how this plan was rolled out from the beginning. God told him he was going to reveal to him strategies of what was happening and that when he became aware of the tactics when he was exposed to a book Rules for Radicals written by an organizer named Saul Alinsky. The inside front cover bears a shout out to lucifer, satan and the back cover is dedicated to Hilary Clinton and Barak Obama. These tactics are employed to identify, mock, polarize, pressurize and ridicule among other things their tactics. Greg addresses each dark tactic and shares the antithesis of this tactic with light perspective from God’s word. The issue is not about whether anyone should be organized it’s about who is doing the organizing and what people are being organized for. He also discusses the difference between the tactics employed by those who follow Rules for Radicals and those like Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. who organized people under the word of God and the United States Constitution. This series is enlightening and will give you great insight to what you have seen unfold in our nation and the alternative light perspective and what you can do to remain in the light.
