This Scud is for you America says Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu; Regarding Iran’s Missile Capability
LISTEN NOW! Greg, John, and Pat discuss Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s remarks when he spoke to APAIC this week. Every time Prime Minister Netanyahu speaks to AIPAC (American Israel Public Affairs Committee) it’s a special time especially since AIPAC is a lobbying group that advocates pro-Israel policies to the Congress and Executive Branch of the United States. In his address Netanyahu said he had come to draw a line. “My friends, I’ve come here to draw a clear line. You know that I like to draw lines — especially red ones. But the line I want to draw today is the line between life and death, between right and wrong, between the blessings of a brilliant future and the curses of a dark past.” He continued to discuss how he was able to visit an Israeli hospital in the Golan Heights that was set up for Syrians caught in the Syrian conflict. He spoke of his emotions regarding what he experienced and the testimony of a shell shock husband and father whose wife and daughter had been blown away with a bomb while he held his young son. He spoke about how Syria’s President had lied to them and said that Iran was their friend and Israel was their enemy although it was Iran’s bombs that were hurting them and it was Israel who was helping them. He continued to ask if you have ever heard of any of Iran’s humanitarian efforts. “Did you ever hear about Syria sending a field hospital anywhere? Did you ever hear about Iran sending a humanitarian delegation overseas? No? You missed that memo? You know why? You know why you haven’t heard anything about that? Because the only thing that Iran sends abroad are rockets, terrorists and missiles to murder, maim and menace the innocent.” His speech was filled with many poignant truth filled words as not to leave any confusion as to who Israel is and who their enemies are. In quoting the head of Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, he said Hezbollah loves death and Israel loves life. And that’s why, he said, Iran and Hezbollah will win and Israel will lose. Well, he’s right about the first point. They do glorify death, and we do sanctify life. But he’s dead wrong on the second point. It’s precisely because we love life that Israel shall win.” The Prime Minister continued to make his case as to why Iran must be prevented from developing a nuclear bomb and went to great lengths to communicate that the emphasis was on prevention as opposed to stopping a nuclear armed Iran. He further discussed how Iran has repeatedly said they are not building nuclear weapons so the question remains why do they continue to build ICBM’s, intercontinental ballistic missiles, whose only purpose is to carry nuclear warheads? He continued to reiterate that since Iran scuds missiles can already reach Israel the reason behind ICMB’s which can travel across vast oceans and can strike cities on the eastern seaboard like Washington D.C. and very soon after that Los Angeles. Netanyahu warned America, “This scud is for you”. Iran must be stopped and Netanyahu made it clear that Israel has every intention to do so. In recent days the Israeli Navy intercepted Iranian scud missiles headed to the Gaza strip. The time has come for those who stand with Israel to be known and accounted for. A nuclear armed Iran put’s the entire world at risk.
Just because its legal ; doesn’t mean its moral
Greg, John and Pat discuss a recent statement that was made at a Monday Morning Rally in Tallahassee, FL, by Bishop Adam Richardson of Metropolitan African Methodist Episcopal Church, when he said ““We, you and I, have learned through experience….found out that what is legal is not always moral.” They further discussed that just because something may be legal in our country does not automatically make it moral, meaning good in God’s eyes. For instance, in recent days we have seen laws regarding marriage, marijuana, etc. America is a country of laws. Slavery was legal but it was not moral. They continued to discuss how amazing it is when people know in their heart that something is wrong although it is legal and yet they still do it. The question to always ask is what would Jesus do? America has a lot of scars. Those scars can be healed but won’t be able to be healed by legislating laws but rather by turning our hearts to God.
The Truth behind DISINFORMATION
Greg, John and Pat discuss the importance of knowing the truth behind disinformation. They discuss a new book written by a former highest ranking Soviet bloc official ever to defect to the West; Lt. Gen. Ion Mihai Pacepa called Disinformation: Former Spy Chief Reveals Secret Strategies for Undermining Freedom, Attacking Religion, and Promoting. Disinformation is defined as false information that is intended to mislead, esp. propaganda issued by a government organization; or planted rumor, to rival power or the media. They continue discussing why programs like the VFNRadio and VFNtv are so important because of the day we are living in especially with a 24 hour news cycle. It’s not just enough to know the news but to know what to do with the news you know. They further discuss how this also happens in ministry especially before one is getting ready to minister it’s as if a plant is sent by the enemy to speak things out to the one ministering to get them off the message. Sometimes the best thing to say is nothing. Disinformation is nothing more than Alinsky 101 and would not be an issue if more than 3% of the church would actually abide. You will find things out as you abide in the word of God. Get in the Word and know the truth.
