You Will Know People By Looking At the Mirrors of their Life

How many people would be in your and lack knowledge but what’s worse than lacking knowledge is lacking the wisdom to apply the knowledge that you do know. Just as water reflects what a person looks like so does their life reflect who they are, how they speak, the relationships they keep, how they love, how they take care of their finances and how they care for those who are close to them. Their life is a reflection of what’s happening in their heart. If you want to see the heart, just look at their fruit. You will know them by their actions all you have to do is watch their lives and you can see what the heart is full of. As a man think it’s in his heart so is he.
Amazon Pays Employees To Quit!
Greg and Pat discuss a letter Jeff Bezos, CEO of Amazon just wrote to his shareholders. In this letter he updated the shareholders about several things. He was sure to update shareholders regarding new technology such as “May Day” that is found on the Kindle as well as confirming that Air Prime is a definite. We will be receiving our packages and books through drones. They say not to misjudge the drones for Locust because it’s just their packages arriving.
What was also interesting is was how Amazon has a new program where they actually pay their employees to quit. That’s right, they pay their employees to quit.
In the first year the company offers the employee $2000 to quit if they are not happy working at Amazon. The second year, they are offered an additional $1000 and additional $1000 for every year after that until they reach $5000, and at that time if they want to quit they will pay them with a $5000 check.
The idea behind this program is to ensure that Amazon employees get a chance to evaluate their job and find out if they are truly happy working there. Their hope is to have employees who really want to work at their business.
They remind us to seize the moment because many people today spend more time complaining about their employment as f someone kidnapped them, dressed them, drove them to work and drop them off.
The truth is that you can enjoy your work and be grateful for the job that God has blessed you with. Many people all around the world would love the opportunity just to be able to work. Today you can make up your mind that no matter what you are facing in your employment you will embrace it with a great attitude of gratitude.
Unjust Treatment; Really?
Greg and Pat discuss how when one works hard to live a life in way that is pleasing to the Lord, caring and loving their fellow man and are treated unjustly; it is at that moment that their true motives are revealed. We must ask ourselves questions like:
Are we doing it for the Lord?
Are we doing it for the acceptance of others? Or are we doing it for the Lord as praise to Him and because of his acceptance? The Bible tells us in 1 Peter 2: 19-23 “For it is commendable if someone bears up under the pain of unjust suffering because they are conscious of God. But how is it to your credit if you receive a beating for doing wrong and endure it? But if you suffer for doing good and you endure it, this is commendable before God. To this you were called, because Christ suffered for you, leaving you an example, that you should follow in his steps. ‘He committed no sin, and no deceit was found in his mouth.’ When they hurled their insults at him, he did not retaliate; when he suffered, he made no threats. Instead, he entrusted himself to him who judges justly.”
Bono U2 Front man; Response to Who Is Jesus?
Greg and Pat discuss an interview with Bono; front man for the group U2. He was asked “Who is Jesus?” Bono replied that Jesus was not just a great thinker or great philosopher he was crucified because he said, he said himself that He was the son of God.
Bono further stated that he finds it hard to accept that all the millions of lives; half the earth has been touch and inspired by some “Nutter”.
He was asked if he believes that Jesus died and rose from the dead and Bono replied “yes” and that he also prays to Jesus. The single most important thought in your life and single most important decision you have to make is who is Jesus to you and if he is the son of God and of course he is Be sure to give him your entire life.
Russian Planes Taunting America
Greg and Pat discuss how Russian jets were found taunting American warship for 90 minutes passing over it twelve times. They continue to discuss a period in time when Russia’s President Krusheve thought America was weak.
During that time the Russian President brought subs during the Bay of Pigs all the way up to our coast and United States could have been nuked. However, today we have a country that has been weekend intentionally.
We have a president who said the future must not belong to those who blaspheme the name of the prophet Mohammed. On top of that during the period in time in which Americans at the Democratic National Convention were trying to select the next leader for our government on the Jumbotron’s the Russian fleet was being displayed and broadcasted around the world. When you put several moments like these together you find out that there’s something more that’s going on.
We find that you organize to polarize and then you begin to nudge. Within a very short period in time it appears that Russia has taken center stage and the United States has taken a step back in fact at the G20 when all of the world’s leaders came forward, the United States President entered 45 minutes late. If that wasn’t enough, the United States is organizing against Israel. A future potential tragedy can be averted if God’s people will humble themselves pray and turn from their wicked ways, resulting in God hearing their prayers and healing their land. It’s important to take special note that this Russian jet flew over the USS Donald Cook for over 90 minutes and made twelve turns. This was a clear sign.
We must catch a clue. We have sinned. When you see these things and understand that all we need to do is humble ourselves repent as the church and get the sin out of our life God can heal our land.
