LISTEN NOW!

Who is the Greatest in the Kingdom of God?

Jesus sits on the side of a mountain and speaks on who is greatest in the Kingdom of God. “If we listen we will know our place”, says Greg. Jesus tells us in Matthew 5:17-20 that whoever breaks the least of these commands (that man has categorized, because Jesus also said if you break one part of the law you’ve broken them all), will be least in the Kingdom but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be great… He also tells us in Matthew 28:19-20 to go make disciples and teach them to obey. Our disobedience is not the fault of anyone else’s disobedience. We are held accountable for our own actions. Greg goes on to share it is not by works we are saved but the desire to do comes when we are saved. And Jesus also says that if we don’t change and become like little children who have no concern of where their food or clothes or anything else comes from, will not be able to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. We must have childlike faith. Greg goes on to share, Trust God he has your back and you will be the greatest in the Kingdom of God.

The Authority of the Believer and what Happens when the Church Prays.

John, Pat, and Chris discuss the authority the believer has and what happens when the church prays.  Of all the things the disciples asked Jesus to teach them. They asked Jesus to teach them how to pray.  God empowers us with authority and prayer to transact kingdom business.  In Acts 12 we find Peter locked in prison and guarded by 16 guards because of Herod.  Herod has been persecuting the church to the point that he had already killed James.  However, John, Pat, and Chris continue to discuss how that the church was praying to God for Peter and God heard them and supernaturally led Peter out of prison by an angel.  God has given us power and authority to pray and see his kingdom come on earth as it is in heaven.

The Regrets of living a Safe Life

Greg, John, and Pat discuss the regrets of living a safe life.  Some time back people began to play it safe.  They started living for the white picket fences, houses, and careers only. God has called us to live a life of faith and on the edge of obeying Him.  We are called to take risks in the culture we live in for God.  Americans in general are not willing to be inconvenienced at all even when it comes to children.  Living a safe life will not end well at the throne room of God.  We are called to be risk takers that believe God for more than just cars, homes and money we are called to believe God for HUMAN BEINGS.  We must seize the opportunity of a lifetime in the lifetime of that opportunity and begin to ask ourselves, is what we are living for worth Jesus dying for?
