“Persecuted”: THE MOVIE: Out Today July 18, 2014

John, Pat, and Steve share about the current release of the new movie: “Persecuted.” In a CBN interview, writer and producer of the film, Daniel Lusko shares how it was the Holy Spirit that inspired him to write the film. This movie is not simply a story of fantasy but actually a story that could happen in America. Lusko shares his encounter with someone in government and their response to the script:
“This scenario of religious reform is happening at the United Nations. There is a bill that is exactly what you’re talking about.”
When movies such as this, are released that express such a bold message for Christ, as the Church, it is important for us to stand with them, support their efforts and go to view it while it is still in the theatres. Be encouraged and lifted up as you hear about what God is doing within Hollywood, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: Holy Spirit, CBN, Persecuted the Movie, evangelism, and boldness.
The Blessings of the Lord Follow those who Put God First; Testimony
Steve, John, and Pat share a perspective about the blessings of the Lord in the workplace as Steve shares a portion of his journey and walk with God. It was God’s idea and direction that led Steve to where he works. Because Steve sought an employer and a schedule that would allow him to do what God had called him to do, he was surprised how God responded by blessing him.
“No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money.”  –Matthew 6:24
When we put God first in our lives and seek first His Kingdom, all these other things will fall right into place. That includes our job. Be encouraged as you look at your workplace with a new perspective, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: abiding, Career Fairs, interviews, promotions, the favor of God, and blessings.

Crises on the Border: Leader of NHCLC Samuel Rodriguez Encourages Families

John, Pat, and Steve share a new perspective about what is happening on the borders of America and Mexico. In a recent CBN interview, Hispanic leader Samuel Rodriguez, shares a message of tough love as he shares how he is coordinating with pastors and leaders in South America to encourage families not to send their children to America. As children are being sent alone, if and when they cross into America, upon the other side, East Los Angeles is waiting for them. With a city that has drugs and gangs within it, it is no place for a wandering child to be, especially alone. He stresses that what children need are families that are committed to Christ who will raise the children. Children have grown up without the outside forces of what society says are needed to be successful such as education and money. On the contrary, it is those that speak into their lives and raised the children that made them who they are today. Ben Carson is a shining example of this, who ended up being a brain surgeon. Be encouraged as your perspective and empathy increases for what is happening on the borders of America. Also shared in this segment: CBN, smallpox, Jihad, anthrax, Global Christians, National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference, and prayer.
 The Harvest: Persecution
John, Pat, and Steve continue the discussion about Rick Joyner’s: The Harvest.  A book that was written more than 20 years ago, can give the church incredible insight and awareness of our present day and the realities that lie ahead. They share about the reality of persecution in the church, the significance in church history and the viewpoint of martyrdom for Christ.
“He allows it for the purifying of His people and their martyrdom, which is one of the ultimate honors for His people……Christians should not be caught off guard by the increase in violence and persecution, but should know that every one of these will ultimately result in a great victory for the gospel……Every Christian leader is on Satan’s hit list, and the more visible a leader is, the higher up the list they will be.”
Enjoy this biblical perspective of the rise of persecution that is being seen across the globe, and be encouraged to stand for Christ boldly, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: persecution, leadership, accusation, Nero, abiding.
