The Story Behind the story of Winston Churchill’s Bust being sent back by the White House

As we continue our conversation regarding our much needed awareness of America’s history, there was a reason why the 3^rd President of America, Thomas Jefferson, responded to the captive American slaves by creating the U.S. Navy. During one of America’s first wars, President Jefferson had to defend American citizens from Islamic Pirates. Amidst the events being part of history, one of the first actions President Obama carried out when he took the Office of Presidency, was to carry out an Apology Tour for what America had carried out in it’s past. Before all of this took place, President Obama sent a bust of Winston Churchill, the bust that was loaned to President Bush on the heels of the events of 9/11, back to Great Britain. Why is this important? A brief look into the events of Winston Churchill’s leadership shines a perspective light as to possibly why.

According to Wallbuilders, “in December 1905, Churchill became Under-Secretary of State for the colonies, dealing mainly with South Africa after the Boer War. As Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies from 1905-1908, CHURCHILL’S PRIMARY FOCUS WAS ON SETTLING THE TRANSVAAL CONSTITUTION, which was accepted by Parliament in 1907.” Churchill was part of the decisive role that decided how those within Africa could vote, and how others could not vote. What may be surprising is who the actual people were that made up these differences.

The further we go back in history, the resounding truth echoes for our need of a Savior and a Redeemer. When we allow the affairs of man to bring justice and balance that is where we lose. Our victory and reconciliation only comes through Jesus Christ.
