Iran Nuclear Deal: Good Deal for Who? Not Israel- Is this Munich 1938 Again and the Beginning of WWIII?

LISTEN NOW! or WATCH FULL PROGRAM! What many had hoped would not come to pass, did in fact occur. President Obama has signed an agreement with Iran about their nuclear program. On the heels of this agreement being signed, the President shared these remarks about the effects of the agreement, “If I were succeeded by a Republican president…..that Republican president would be in a much stronger position than I was when I came into office in terms of constraining Iran’s Nuclear Program.” The events that have just transpired are echoing the same realities as to what took place just moments before World War II began as Neville Chamberlain boldly waved the Munich Agreement with both his signature and Adolf Hitler’s signature on it promoting peace in Europe.

Coincidentally enough, when Democratic New York State Assemblyman, Dov Hikind, was interviewed on Fox News, his remarks expressed a stark contrast to the President’s. “This is Chamberlain 1938….. I want to see fellow Democrats look at this deal for what it is. It is a betrayal of our friends all over the world…..Israel is being threatened. 4 days ago ‘DEATH TO ISRAEL!’ ‘DEATH TO AMERICA’; some people don’t want to believe that. I believe it. I believe they want to destroy the State of Israel.” We have the wisdom of looking back at history and seeing the outcome of that agreement with Adolf Hitler that did not result in peace within Europe, but the death of 60 million people and 6 million Jews being massacred in the Holocaust. Are we repeating the same events of history? Are we about to experience World War III?

It has been said that when God wants to discipline a nation, He causes the leadership of that nation to turn against Israel. We have just witnessed the leadership of America willfully sign an agreement with a nation that is an enemy of God, an enemy of Israel and an enemy of America. When the President was interviewed by Israel Channel 2 news, asking about his relationship with Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu, he said, “When I’m with Bibi, we have good conversations, they’re tough, they’re forceful, we disagree, but, uh, I enjoy jousting with him….” It matters when the leadership of a nation openly expresses jousting with the nation of Israel in a positive way. The answer is not looking at politicians. The politicians in America are elected leaders, elected by the citizens of America.

Regardless of what occurs, we know this: Israel is going to defend itself. The question is are you for Israel, or are you against Israel? It matters how we treat Israel. Joel 3:2 make this clear, “I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will put them on trial for what they did to my inheritance, my people Israel, because they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land.” This is the moment when we can make the decisions, before the eyes of the Lord, in humility and repentance that we are for Israel.
