Muslim Cleric Giving a Challenge to Stab Jews? Muslim Parents Name New born baby “Knife of Jerusalem”
Right now, there are Muslim clerics, leaders in Islam that are bolding preaching their doctrines and beliefs with a dagger in hand, calling for a ‘curfew of stabbing’ in Israel, according to CBN. While these words are shouted out, unapologetically against Israel and the Jews, America’s Secretary of State, John Kerry, has commented to Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu, to “tone down his rhetoric.” What about the rhetoric of stabbings with knives? Why is there a continual pressing against Israel and the capital of Jerusalem?
It is in the capital of Israel, Jerusalem, where the Temple Mount resides. Also in Jerusalem is the home to significant landmarks of Islamic history ‘The golden Dome of the Rock is the most identifiable Muslim shrine on the Temple Mount… the grey dome Al-Aqsa Mosque that Muslims consider the third holiest site in Islam’, according to CBN’s Chris Mitchell. “They believe that Mohammed took a famous night ride from Mecca to al-Aqsa on his winged horse ‘al-Baraq’”. The lie being boldly promulgated from Islamic voices, to the ears of the world, is that the al-Aqsa is in danger. When this lie has been shouted from media platforms, it has caused rioting within Muslims and the killing of Jewish lives.
Joel 3:2 expresses how God will respond to these events, “I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will put them on trial for what they did to my inheritance, my people Israel.” There has been a continual narrative regarding the pushing and pressing of Jerusalem that has been unfolding. The words that are uttered across the platforms of the world are important to understand. 10 Distinct Misconceptions of the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict?
Many are the conversations regarding the events and history of Israel. Of what is being said, what is the truth? In this present day, the urgency and events taking place within Israel have not lessened. Considering many of the recent headlines regarding the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict, there are a few myths that are being disseminated. In a recent video, Calev Myers dispels the top 10 of these myths.
It has been said that “the surrounding Arab nations actually want to create a Palestinian State”. Not true. Myers rejects this bold face lie with a simple explanation of simple history. “After the war (of 1948) the West Bank and Gaza were controlled by Jordan and Egypt, for 19 YEARS. During that span, those governments never established a Palestinian State.” Without the awareness and acknowledgement of clear history we place ourselves in positions to be quickly misinformed.
Another lie being beaconed throughout humanity is that ‘the formation of a state is the primary goal of top Palestinian leaders’. The international aid that was given to Palestinians, in response to the refugee crisis, which toppled over ’25 times what was given, per person, what Europe was given after World War II’, didn’t not end up in the hands of needing refugees; but instead, was given to Yasser Arafat that resulted in “investments of over $1 Billion dollars.” Why wasn’t this funding used to establish a free state?
Continually, it has also been stated that Israel has a peace partner. More lies. When Israeli elected official, Ehud Barak, former Prime Minister of Israel, offered a peace agreement to Yasser Arafat. Myers continues, “Barak offered Yasser Arafat 94% of the land that he demanded, except Jerusalem. Arafat flatly refused. President Clinton blamed the failure of the best chance at peace in 60 years, squarely on Yasser Arafat.”
When you begin to understand that there is a narrative that is being pushed and promulgated against Israel on every front, platform, and curve imaginable, one begins to understand why such lies are publicized and spread so easily. Why is the leadership of America now involved in this pushing effort? Looking at Islamic history causes more concerned heads to turn. You won’t believe what Mohammed reportedly rode when he brought Islam from Mecca to Jerusalem. Is It Time to Rethink Church?
According to George Barna, “over $1.3 million dollars are spent per baptized believer”. When we look at the present state of the Church in Western culture we see a stark comparison when we look at the explosion of Church growth that has taken place in Cuba when most are living on an average of $30 a month. What are we doing? In our present reality, there is so much that each of us can do. It’s not about the buildings, the carpet or the programs. The question is, what we are doing for the people. It’s time that we begin to re-think what “Church” is as Jesus originally made it known through His disciples. Let your faith be challenged and stirred as you see how simple Jesus designed these truths to be, and so much more.
