Encouraging, Exciting and Hopeful Gathering of the Church in Pensacola: United in Prayer

These truly are exciting days. Some have said that the hardest gathering to get people to attend is a prayer gathering. This was not the case at the United in Prayer event co-hosted by Pastor Ted Traylor and Pastor Joey Rogers. The entire gathering was Biblically sound and focused on The Lord’s Prayer in Matthew 6:9-13.

Churches from across North West Florida gathered in unity, repenting for sins and crying out to God for revival. It was a powerful sight to see Pastors respond and make their way to the altar, on their knees, standing in the gap, praying for the city and the nation.

If this isn’t exciting enough, this gathering is just a pre-cursor to the United in Prayer event on Sunday, September 11^th, 2016. It will be at the Pensacola Bay Center. Revival Coming to Cuba, Prophetic Word by Rick Joyner; Could President Obama’s Historic Visit Play a Key Role?

Looking solely at the history of Cuba paints a grim picture; A country turned into a Communist dictatorship under the leadership of Fidel Castro, political prisoners, and a closed nation. An American President hasn’t visited Cuba in 88 years. This being said, it is a big deal to see President Barack Obama, and Air Force One touch down on the soil of Cuba.

CBN reports about how events unfolded before the arrival of the President. “Police clashed with human rights protesters. At least 50 demonstrators were arrested.” Senator Ted Cruz, also shared his criticism of the events that took place. “The world has forgotten about you (political prisoners) … There will be no mojitos at the U.S. Embassy for them. Raul Castro denies their very existence.” Donald Trump shares his support of relationships with Cuba but expressed his comments disliking the vacancy of Castro’s presence and the arrival of President Obama, “There was nobody there to greet him”.

With the existence of these events, this may just be the turning point that begins a new future with Cuba. Businesses, hotel, and airlines, are already positioning and planning for the potential openings in the future with Cuba. Google has also made known their plans to establish Wi-Fi towers in Cuba as well.

When we look at the rising potential of Cuba, we are reminded of the prophetic word shared by Rick Joyner. “In this dream I was in this ultra-modern grocery store…everything there was so nice and so modern. But, what captured my attention more than anything else, is everybody there was talking about the Lord, and that’s all anybody wanted to talk about…”He continues to share that the Revival that is about to begin in Cuba will also take effect in Russia. The revival in Cuba will not only have an obvious effect on the Church in Cuba, but also the economy. “Some of the most valuable property in the world, and it is also going to be some of the safest property in the world.”

These words are verification that The Kingdom is not dependent upon your economy. Under the leadership of Fidel Castro, the Church in Cuba was ordered that they were not allowed to build anymore buildings. This caused a massive growth in the Church, causing gatherings to happen in people’s homes. Now is the time for the Church to be prepared for an outpouring such as this. If God is calling you to be a part of what He is doing, NOW is the time to respond. But, it was the confirming prophetic word by Hubie Synn, sitting next to him in an airport terminal, that The Harbinger began to create a national audience. Synn is the author of The Tales of a Wandering Prophet, and he has a prophetic word for America.

Synn shares that he has been reading through the story of Joseph and looking at how the famine took place. “The Lord has…been speaking to me about the story of Joseph, and how Joseph was forewarned of a famine.” He continues to share, “As I was reading through what happened to Joseph, the Lord was kind of telling me, that we need to prepare, because there is something coming. A famine is coming.”

When we consider what is happening around the world; China devaluing their currency, Saudi Arabia’s request for a multi-billion-dollar loan, and Greece’s pending economy crash that has just been delayed because of a previous loan, we can see how his next words apply to us today. “When the famine hit Egypt, before it hit Egypt, other parts around it were hit first. And, when you look at world events now… all their markets are pretty unstable.”

We are in the best of times and the worst of times. Now is the time to prepare. We can avoid tomorrow’s regrets by doing what is right today.
