President Trump Holds Governor’s Ball with Most Governors in Attendance: 46

As President Trump has established his productive reputation since taking Office, he has met with varying leaders, both nationally and internationally. Recently he met with America’s Governors as he held the Governor’s Ball at the White House. The President wasn’t shy about his productivity since taking office. “…we’ve accomplished almost everything we’ve started out to accomplish”.

As the President continues to speak to the Governors that were in attendance, he reminds them that they will be discussing healthcare during their time in Washington. While he addresses business, he also recognizes the Governors for their leadership and service for each of their states while also highlighting the significance of this particular Governor’s Ball. 46 Governors attended, which is reportedly the most of any Governor’s Ball.

President Trump Holds Listening Session with Parents, Teachers, and Leaders of Education

As the President’s schedule is non-stop, meeting with leaders of varying industries, he also recently sat down with leaders in the Education industry. While the table was filled with teachers from Charter Schools, Home Schools, as well as Private and Public Schools, the new Secretary of the Department of Education, Betsy DeVos was present. While hosting these Educational leaders, the President also spoke about his concern for all students, their present realities in our schools, as well as the future.

“As I said many times in my campaign, we want every child in America to have the opportunity to climb the ladder to success. I want every child also to have a safe community, and we’re going to do that very much.” As Betsy DeVos has been a champion for School Choice, the President remarks about how not having this option for parents is greatly effecting students.  “Right now, too many of our children don’t have the opportunity to get that education that we all talked about. Millions of poor disadvantaged students are trapped in failing schools, and this crisis — and it really is a crisis of education – and communities working together but not working out, and we’re going to change it around, especially for the African-American communities.” These realities are not acceptable as he shares his take on School Choice in America. “That’s why I want every single disadvantaged child in America, no matter what their background or where they live, to have a choice about where they go to school.”

Be encouraged as you see the President share his heart for concern for the students in our Education Industry, how is creating many new jobs, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: Las Vegas, factories, educators, autism, and New York City. Greg and Steve shared in this segment.

President Trump Address Healthcare and Women in Weekly Address: Mar 10, 2017

President Trump continues his productive record in the White House as he shares his Weekly Address to the American people. As we celebrate Women’s History Month, and the President expresses thanks to many of the women that have made America what it is today. “Honoring the countless contributions that women leaders, scientists, and entrepreneurs have made throughout American history. We are a greater, stronger, and more just nation today because of women like Clara Barton, Susan B. Anthony, Harriet Tubman, and so many others.” It is also notable to mention that this address came while in his 50th day in Office.

The President changes topics as he addresses the issue of healthcare in America. He points out the failures of Obamacare; rising premiums, broken promises, and decreasing plans. “This year, Americans in nearly one third of all counties have only one insurer to choose from on the exchanges.” The President continues to point out the dire effects of Obamacare. “Americans were promised that if they liked their health insurers and their doctors, they could keep them. Instead, millions of Americans lost the insurance, and lost the doctor that they liked.” While many realize how broken Obamacare is, President Trump addresses the priority it is to resolve this. “I want every American to know that action on Obamacare is an urgent necessity.” He continues to explain, “If we do nothing, millions more innocent Americans will be hurt, and badly hurt. That’s why we must repeal and replace Obamacare.”

It is encouraging to see the President recognize the many important women that have made America what it is today, as well as addressing the topic of healthcare in America, making changes to rectify it, and so much more.
