Israeli Defense Forces Soldier Murdered: Honoring Hadas Malka, 23-year-Old Israeli Soldier stabbed to Death by Palestinian outside Damascus Gate
Tragedy has struck, once again, in Jerusalem as an IDF Soldier, Hadas Malka was stabbed to death defending Israel. There are eight different gates that allow entrance into the Old City of Jerusalem. One of these gates is the Damascus Gate, where Malka was standing her post. We must have empathy and concern about what is happening within Israel, and to the Israeli people. Hananya Naftali, a former IDF Soldier, shares about how this horrible tragedy has affected him as he currently lives in Israel.
With raw footage from Damascus Gate, Naftali describes what took place during this horrible moment. “On Shabbat Eve, 3 Palestinian terrorists, armed with knives and weapons attacked two different locations in Jerusalem.” He continues to describe how the attacker focused on Hadas. “One of the terrorists assaulted Hadas, while she fought him with bare hands for seconds trying to pull off her weapon and defend herself. She was stabbed several times, was rushed to the hospital, but died of her wounds.”
Naftali continues to reveal the sobering reality of this harsh display of evil as he reminds us all about Hadas’s family. “Can you imagine what her family is going through right now? They sent their own daughter to protect the land of Israel and she made the hardest sacrifice of all – HER LIFE.” These moments are absolutely tragic as our hearts go out to the Malka family and all of those who knew Hadas. But, this reality is even more tragic.
Naftali continues to share about how he was stunned reading the news about the death of Hadas Malka and the celebratory response by Hamas. “When I read the news today, I saw that Hamas was celebrating her death; and it shocks me EVERY TIME! How can anyone celebrate a human being’s death?” This is the truth that many around the world are not aware of. “This is what Israel is dealing with. Israel is dealing with terrorists on a daily basis. I’m not saying this because I read it somewhere. I’m saying this from my personal experience when I was in the IDF.”
This is the truth that we must share with the world. Terrorists who kill Israelis, or die carrying out terrorist attacks against Jews are praised by the Palestinian Authority. On top of their celebrations, the families are given money due to their acts of terrorism and streets are named after these terrorists. Evil is not only condoned, it is celebrated!
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his wife Sarah visited the Malka family to share their condolences for the loss of their daughter and sister. As the Prime Minister sits with the grieving family, he shares these honoring words; “We came
to salute her, to bow our heads in her memory, to be with you all. It’s just a terrible loss.” Hadas’s father shared about how Hadas impacted Israel with the life that she lived. “There are people who made a mark on the Jewish people and the State of Israel.”He continued, “Most of them accomplished this during their long life but our Hadas was so young and [yet] she made a mark of loving the nation and the state.” Many in the Israeli community honored Hadas in a funeral for her eulogizing the beauty of her life that she lived.
We must pray for the peace of Israel. It is encouraging to know that we have leadership in America that stands up for and supports Israel, President Trump, Vice President Pence, and many others. This is a new season. We are sharing the details of this tragedy because we must raise awareness of what is taking place within Israel. This will be talked about in the heavenlies. U.S. Policy on Cuba Just Shifted: President Trump Reverses U.S. Policy on Cuba
Wild things were happening with the relations between the United States and Cuba during the past Administration. It is important that we learn the history of what is and has taken place in our nation and in the nations around us. Only 90 miles south of Florida is the small island of Cuba, which was once a land of free people. Then Fidel Castro came and immediately began his oppressive leadership over the Cuban people.
Just moments after Fidel Castro took over leadership, he murdered 71 leaders. One of these leaders was the police chief of Santiago de Cuba. The police chief’s son, Luis Haza, who was only eight years old at the time, is a gifted and talented violin player. When the Castro regime learned of his musical talents, they immediately attempted to recruit him to play for Castro. But, the young Haza refused to comply.
As “NO” was not an acceptable answer for the Castro militants, they barged into one of Haza’s practice sessions and demand that he play his violin for him. As the young boy shook with fear, he began to play. The song he chose caused the entire room to immediately be silent. “The Star-Spangled Banner” was his choice of music. In an amazing full circle moment, while President Trump spoke regarding the U.S. policy towards Cuba, he not only spoke about Luis Haza, he gave the stage to Haza as he played the “The Star-Spangled Banner” just as he did as a young eight-year-old boy. It was this full circle moment that President Trump highlighted as he honored the Cuban people talking about his changes to the U.S. Policy with Cuba will no longer be as it has been.
“We all accept that all nations have the right to chart their own paths — and I’m certainly a very big believer in that — so we will respect Cuban sovereignty. But we will never turn our backs on the Cuban people. That will not happen.” Considering the long-standing history and relationship between America and Cuba, one cannot deny the horrible oppression the Cuban people have experienced. President Trump recognizes that we can no longer tolerate such oppression. “Over the years, a special sympathy has grown between this land of the free, and the beautiful people of that island, so close to our shores and so deeply woven into the history of our region. America has rejected the Cuban people’s oppressors. They are rejected. Officially today, they are rejected.”
President Trump continued to share the immense hope that America represents to the Cuban people. “And to those people, America has become a source of strength, and our flag a symbol of hope. I know that is exactly what America is to you and what it represents to you. It represents the same to me.” The story of hope and encouragement is embodied in the overcoming life of Luis Haza and the remarkable journey he underwent as it all culminated in the same ballad being played before the President of the country that he loves so dearly.
This is such an encouraging moment. The Cuban people are such a beautiful people as the Holy Spirit has been moving mightily upon so many communities as reports have revealed a mighty revival is taking place in the land. Federal Judge Orders Cross in Pensacola Park to Come Down
There have been outlandish laws that have been passed in history, but this one is sure to shock many. According to Fox News, a federal judge has recently decided that a Cross erected in Pensacola Florida’s Bayview Park violates the law and must be taken down. More specifically, District Judge Roger Vinson shared these remarks, “I am aware that there is a lot of support in Pensacola to keep the cross as is, and I understand and I understand and respect that point of view.” He continued his remarks, “But, the law is the law.”
According to the article, the lawsuit was presented on behalf of four Pensacola citizens. Four. It’s amazing how two pieces of lumber can cause such controversy in our nation. The reason is because it’s more than two simple sticks put together. The Cross is where God met mankind, and Jesus Christ took the sins of mankind upon Himself so that he took the away the curse of the law. The Cross is very powerful, His name is very powerful, when you mention His name, everything breaks loose.
This is the difference between every false god that sets themselves up as god, and Jesus Christ who is the One True God. What happened on the Cross is not the full story. After dying on the Cross, and being buried, Jesus Christ was resurrected on the third day and is now in Heaven on the right hand of the Father. Jesus is no longer on the Cross. HE’S ALIVE! Those who are trying to fight their battles in the legal courtrooms of America will find out soon enough that their battle is truly with God and no one else.
The Cross in Bayview Park has been in place since 1941 and was replaced in 1969 by the Pensacola Jaycees that is seen today. The truth is, God belongs in the public square. Many of the monuments in Washington point to the goodness of our God and His hand upon our nation. In communities such as Pensacola, we shouldn’t be surprised that these events are happening when it was the same community that allowed a satanist to carry out the invocation during a City Council meeting. We must pray for the leadership of Pensacola, as well as the leaders of our communities all over our nation.
