Imagine getting a big box of parts; full of materials, screws, nuts and bolts. Then, apart from having the instructions, how long would it take to put it together, correctly? When we visualize this reality, we are only able to arrive at the end result when we have the instructions. The manufacturer had a desired outcome for whatever product is on the box. What is the instruction manual? The Bible. Who is the Manufacturer? God. It is simple to put together our lives when we abide by what God has given to us from the beginning, His Word.
There was a day when absolute truths were a given. In today’s present age, on college campuses, this reality is up to debate. Words like: equality, justice, love, and civil rights have meaning. Today’s generation may not necessarily know the original intent of these words. We cannot change the meaning of words simply to get our way. We have to ask ourselves, “What is truth?” Jesus said this in John 14:6, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” Jesus is truth, and His words are truth. Outside of Him there is no other way into a relationship with God. On a recent Fox News Panel, Pastor J.D.
